Good product, worked great for me.
I bought these after doing g lots of research on running fueling and strategy. Basically I'm a large runner, at the time of getting these 150+ kg. I was preparing for a half marathon and higher carbs than normal gels (generally around 20g) were needed to keep me going. These were brilliant in doing that. I used these every hour with others gels and gummies in between. Worked so well I felt I could keep going a few more miles at the end. Now I take them with me on all my longer runs now.

Good energy boost but thick
A little on the thick side. Super sweet taste. Definitely work well though and provide sufficient energy for long runs. Recommend if you don’t mind a thicker gel.

Useful to have as a backup energy booster when running and cycling.
These energy gel pouches are useful to have in an ‘emergency’ when undertaking strenuous exercise activities, such as cycling and running. The pouches are small and convenient to carry and fit easily into the pockets on a running vest or cycling shorts. The tear-off top is easily opened so the contents can be quickly and easily consumed. The product advice says to limit the number of sachets to 8 in 24hours, but I wouldn’t want to consume anywhere near that amount… maybe one or two at the very most, but that’s just my personal preference. The pouches only have a shelf life of one year (Use-by May 2026) and I would have expected it to be longer than that. Taste is a subjective criteria, but for my palate the gel is extremely sweet; however, this also helps me to limit consumption to when I’m having a real energy dip and not use them as a substitute for more conventional and natural energy sources during exercise.

Great tasting gels
I’m always a bit wary to try different gels, but these really help on long run days and they taste great. The citrus flavouring is nice and subtle and not too artificial.

Sugar hit when needed
These energy gels are made from mainly maltodextrin, which is my memory serves is essentially a carb absorbed as fast as sugar/dextrose but isn't classed as a simple carb - but acts like one. I have used these both before and after a gym session, when I've felt I needed the lift and they work pretty well. Taste is ok, it's a tool and a means to and end rather than something to look forward to. Effective - happy to recommend.

Power Pack
I'm currently training for a half marathon and thought I'd try these (among others). They do the job. They taste good (not sickly) and give me energy and spark to keep going. Some gels are known to upset stomachs, so heading out for a long run to test these was a little daunting! I have to say that I bit the bullet and they were fine on several runs. I plan to keep using these beyond race day.
