Waited over a week to make sure I liked it! What can I say? For background I’m in a very hot and humid climate during the summer and my upstairs bedroom is more similar to a jungle than to anything. But I can’t keep pumping my AC down; my basement is already equivalent to a kitchen walk in and my bank account can’t handle much more. So this vent was sort of a Hail Mary. It works exactly as I need it to. It’s not a miracle worker; but it’s darn good. It has lowered the temp of my room in comparison to the rest of upstairs which is exactly what I needed. It’s not quite as cool as my lower floors but it is making sleeping a lot easier. I’m able to use a blanket at night again thanks to this vent. It works very simply; setup took only a few minutes just had to unscrew the old vent and screw this one in, and made sure there’s a plug close enough. It can do both cooling and heating and I will be sure to try the heating in the winter as I have the same issue of my upstairs not conforming to the temp of the rest of the house. The fan is pretty quiet, I have it on a 7 but it goes up to 10, which I may need as we march towards a hot July. I’d say on 5 or lower it’s so quiet you barely notice, on 7+ you notice but it’s still about the same noise as a regular fan so no big deal for me. And it’s easy to adjust with the included remote. AND it looks nicer than a normal vent cover. Overall can’t recommend this enough, it’s been a huge help in my ability to sleep soundly and comfortably at night and actually be able to BE in my room on hot days.

We bought an old house (built in 1900) with central air added by previous owners during renovations. The second floor bedrooms stay warm in the winter, but it was hard to get the AC to sufficiently cool the upper floor bedrooms in the spring and summer. I got this to replace the bedroom floor vent, to push more cool air into the room from the existing central air duct and it works AMAZINGLY. It feels like we have a window unit in the room. The fans blow very effectively and the programming makes sure it’s not always running. You set the temperature threshold based on the air coming from the vent (not the room temp) and when it reaches that temp the fan kicks on. This works for cooling and heating depending on the season. In the summer I set it to 68F and if the air coming from the vent is below 68F the fan kicks on. In the winter I set it to 70F and as long as the heat coming from the duct is warmer than 70F the fan kicks on. Outside of those settings, the system does not kick on. Simple and easy to program, it’s definitely a game changer for us! Worth every penny! I would highly recommend this if you have less than efficient vents in a room.

So it works and it works well, but many of the videos makes it seem like a miracle worker. It is not. It's good and I still use it. It does boost the AC/Heat coming from your central vents, but it won't miraculously take a 95 deg F attic office to 70 deg F, but it will take the humidity out of the air and cool it by a few more degrees than the vent alone. The mechanism fits well in the vents. It's easy to install. It has adjustable fan speeds, but the instructions are lacking and take a little to understand.

It is amazing how much it cools the upstairs bedrooms. Let's face it, we all know heat rises, the upstairs rooms are always hotter than the rest of the house. We easily installed the booster fan and within an hour we felt the difference, Sleeping was wonderful! it is so easy to install, it's quiet, and the remote makes it controllable from your bed. We speed the word to friends and family and everyone that got one says it is amazing.

This is a great product. In our home, the upstairs master bedroom stays much warmer than the rest of the house even with the central air on, so we were interested to find this vent booster fan for such a reasonable price. At first I got the wrong size for our vent, but I contacted the company directly and they have AMAZING customer service--they responded within a few hours and sent us a new vent fan at no charge, inviting us to keep the old one for extra parts! Very impressed. This fan fits in our vent well and was fairly simple to install, with a cord long enough to reach an outlet on the same wall without an extension cord, even though our bedroom vent is near the ceiling. Already I can tell a difference in more cool airflow I can feel at my desk, so I'm grateful! The remote is fairly easy to adjust and figure out also. Very impressed by this company overall!

Effectively cools upstairs bedroom! We keep it on fan speed 2-3 and it’s quiet enough for sleeping. Speed 10 is louder like a portable room fan. Remote control is convenient. Easy to install. Working well every day for several weeks now. Better than the portable air conditioner we tried before. We wish we knew about this vent fan years ago! Would definitely buy again.

This helped cool off our upstairs bedrooms significantly. Definitely a good buy with the only complaint being there were very poor instructions on how to operate it. Once we figured it out we’ve been thrilled.

I was truly amazed how well this register worked. It did an excellent job helping to heat a very cold mud room in the winter. Recently I moved it to our bedroom during a heat spell with high humidity. The circulation in our forced air furnace which our heat pump is connected to isn’t great. Our bedroom was very warm. This register help to cool off the room very quickly. It was like a different room after the register ran for a short period of time. The manual was simple and clear and the message was if you have any issues at all contact us immediately! I would buy again.
