However, the die shape of the 1080ti is roughly a 5:4 aspect ratio so, at minimum, you'd likely need the 25x25 size pad. Do keep in mind that there are a bunch of SMDs around the die, so you may want to cover them with something since kryosheet is electrically conductive ("electricians bundling tape" is my current go-to solution as it's like electrical tape but is less permanent and doesn't leave behind any stickiness much like painter's tape). Also, protip: a single drop of Isopropyl alcohol on the die and then placing the KryoSheet on top of it will help keep the KryoSheet in place when reattaching the CPU heatsink. **Q: 7840u would fit with the 24x12mm?** A: Indeed it should.
