The machine arrived on time, in perfect condition. The thing that struck me first off was the build quality, and the weight of the machine. Then just the ascetics of it, for a welding machine it is very easy on the eyes and looks like it is ready to get to work. It looks and feels like a quality machine. I have never been able to run a proper weld with flux core wire, but after setting up the Femerol Mig 250 Pro I was running some quality welds, minutes after un-boxing the unit. Which I am sure will only get better. The display and inputs take a lot of the guess work out of Flux Core Mig Welding. The Synergic Mig function seems to work as advertised. And the ability to fine tune amperage and wire feed rate only help to make quality welds. As a weekend welder, I don't believe you can get a better machine at this price. Update: My welds are getting better all of the time, I am building a cart for the unit to get some practice in. I have the issue of the display blinking after shutting down. I contacted customer support, Lily responded within an hour or so. It seems this phenomenon is normal due to capacitor discharge and such, I was assured it was normal and not an issue. Whew! Because I really like this machine, I believe I'm looking at years of trouble-free service ahead. I'll keep you posted.

Love my welder, Works well . I have only used the stick and mig programs . It’s a great price for the power and features. I would recommend it for the home owner DIYer . I have used it on my farm equipment for repairs. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

I'm no professional welder, but I really love this machine. So far I've only been running flux core 0.030 wire, I originally purchased this machine to switch to a gas capable machine. But the spatter has been so minimal, I may just continue using primarily flux core wire. Being a multi-process machine is great to have options and the ability to run a spool gun for aluminum, or swap out the mig liner if you want. Even though I'm not an experienced welder the machine's interface is straight forward and easy to use. Though as others say the owners manual is lacking and no welding chart included (but the seller will send you one if you message them). The only real issue I ran into was during setting up and feeding the wire. The contact tips that came with the machine label 0.8mm (0.030") have a manufacturing defect. The tolerance is off on the hole the wire passes through, it was too tight and caused the wire to bind and birds nest back at the roller. Once I swapped the contact tip from my old Harbor Frieght welding machine and adjusted the wire tension, the machine functioned flawlessly. It is nice to know the consumables for this mig gun are compatible with Harbor Freight Vulcan mig accessories. I also put a Vulcan flux core nozzle tip on the mig gun to proctect the gas ports, till I get a bottle of gas. Not nessary, but I had them laying around. Overall a really great machine and I'm very pleased with the purchase. I took 1 star off for the poor quality of the included contact tips and the poor owners manual. But if you are on the fence about this welder, go for it! It's a great machine especially for the price.

At this price point, this welder has many features. some of which are not available on more expensive welders. Such as, spool gun option, spot weld with adjustable time. all 3 cables are approximately 10 feet long and Adjustable inductance. And 60% duty cycle. + and - adjustment in synergic mode for both voltage and Current.it has no limitation on amperage when selecting wire size. on some welders like Arccaptain, if you select 0.030, you can only increase the amperage to 130 Amp max. NOTE: 1: These units must have hefty filter capacitors so when the unit is turned off and caps discharge, the screen flashes for a second of two. DO NOT be concerned. this is normal. I've seen this in other more expensive brand name welder. 2: According to specs, it has a fan on demand. but This has been upgraded to continuous in order to improve the duty cycle. I measured the noise level right next to machine with cover closed and it's lower than average for all these types of welders. 3- Some units may have mig contact tips labeled 0.8mm however it's incorrect hole size it will cause flux core wire to jam. try pushing the wire through it as a test before screwing it on to avoid birds nest. These days, practically 98% of the welders can lay a reasonably nice beads. and this machine makes even flux core look good. The most important feature of any welder, no matter what price range is the actual output current compared to the ADVIRTISED specification. I tested the output current for Flux core synergic (which uses none threaded nozzle) on 220V at different Amp settings. Totally Awesome Welder. I've used Lincoln with Lincoln flux core wire and the wire kept breaking so that made the experience sucky, I've used Miller with Celtal Welding flux core wire and the experience was like Butter so smooth. But this little buy is totally impressive for the price. First of all delete the word CAN'T from your vocabulary, because Welding is a easy as playing with a hot glue gun and grinder as the eraser, practice on some scraps metal. But back to this little guy and all welders in general. You must play or dial in the voltage and match the wire speed to the melting of your speed. Im currently using the lowest wire feed and voltage settings set to 14 volts, which is pretty low. I'm currently Welding on 1/8 flat steel bar which I can melt VERY VERY easy for 14 volts.

Wow, welders have really come a long ways. I've been using a little lincoln weld pac 100 forever. Most of the welding I do is sheet metal for auto body rust repair. But I had to Do some welding on my truck frame, the lincoln wasn't up to the task, so decided to take a chance on this cheap welder based on reviews. I think I bought the lincoln welder sometime in the 90's and it is still working to this day. I want to say I paid 300 something bucks for it new back then. The femerol welder, some things look cheap, like the gun, being mostly plastic. Its really light. But it works great. It could handle the thicker steel, has digital readings, can perform more types of welding. and frankly made better looking welds then the lincoln. And its cheaper today then the lincoln was 30 years ago. I am impressed. I've only flux core welded with it so far. I hope it lasts.

I'll preface this by saying I've bought the leading multi-process inverter welders from the primary competitors: YesWelder and ArcCaptain and I won't keep you in suspense...This welder beats both competitors and is substantially less expensive. I'll start off with what I think can be improved: The spool holder - It's awkward to put a 10lb spool onto the holder. You have to support the whole spool while trying to compress the spring and the tiny nut like the Yeswelders. The ArcCaptain design is better here. It has a large spool adapter so you just slide the spool on and then has an easy to turn large plastic knob that tightens it. The gas inlet - The gas inlet is just a nipple on the back of the machine that you slide a gas hose onto with no fittings. You have to use the included clamp and hope for the best and the other end of the supplied gas hose has no fitting so you have to go buy one to attach to your regulator unless your regulator happens to come with barb fittings. Inductance control - It's amazing that such a budget friendly welder has an inductance setting at all, but it's in a shared setting button/menu. ArcCaptain has them beat here with its own dedicated inductance knob that you can easily fine tune on the go. No ability to switch from metric to IPM on wire speed when in manual mig mode. In Syn Mig mode, you adjust Amps in lieu of wire feed speed. In manual mode you have wire feed speed, but it is in meters per minute instead of IPM (inches per minute). Not a huge deal. You can just use syn mode OR convert the metric in manual mode OR use trial & error. Fan stays on - The ArcCaptain turns off the fan when the thermostat says it doesn't need it. This welder like most others stays on all the time while powered on. Moving on the the good stuff. Like....a 2 year warranty!! Unlike most other multi-process inverter welders available, this one can put out an unheard of 250 amps. The ArcCaptain can only do mig on 120v up to 120 amps or 160 amps on 240v. This machine will do mig @ 160 amps on a regular 120v household outlet and 250 amps on a 240v outlet. It has a 60% duty cycle at 250 amps, which is awesome. Other budget welders have a 20% at much lower amps. Even the expensive Millers our parents grew up with don't go above a 50% duty cycle at this amperage. As I wrote above, this has induction control which allows you to fine tune your welds to eliminate spatter and get the penetration you want. This is a 6 in 1 welder so you don't need to buy a different welder for stick, tig, mig, flux core mig, etc. It does it all. Unlike the competition it doesn't even need a spool gun to do aluminum (but can power a spool gun if you prefer). It has a free included special lining to be able to use aluminum right through the mig torch. It has 2T/4T mode like some of the modern high-end welders so if you're welding a long bead, you don't have to hold the trigger down. You hit the trigger to start, hit it again and release to stop the weld or you can leave it in 2T mode and it will behave as usual. It has Pre/Post gas settings so you can specify how long you want to gas to come on before the weld and stay on afterwards. It's ridiculously light weight. How many 250 amp welders do you know of that you can easily pick up with one hand and effortlessly put on your welding cart? With common mig welders like your Lincolns, you have your main 2 knobs with just a handful of positions to adjust your voltage and amps. This unit not only has "easy mode" (syn) to sync the two for you, but it has manual mode where you can fine tune the voltage to the 10th of a volt as opposed to A, B, C, etc. so you can get perfect welds. It can also burn hotter than the competition by going all the way up to 26 volts. If you're like me, you likely started on a cheap flux core or stick welder and outgrew it and had to buy more welders to branch out into gas shielded mig, tig or just to a more powerful machine for heavier material. The nice thing about this welder is that it's perfect for a newbie to start on flux core, then branch out to everything else without outgrowing the machine. It can do it all. Some of the other modern inverter welders come with ZERO documentation or instructions, not even a getting started card and if they do, they're in broken English and hard to understand. This welder comes with the best manual I've ever seen on a welder. It not only tells you exactly how to set everything up and suggests what settings to use, but it actually has sections teaching you how to do each type of welding the machine can do down to weaves and types of joints and it is in proper easy to understand English. The wire feeder/roller assembly mechanism inside isn't plastic like most others. It's made of metal so less likely to break. I like how the connectors on the front are labeled. Unlike older standard welders that have pos/neg terminals inside that you swap, modern welders have positive and negative euro style connectors on the front that you swap depending on what process you're using, but most other competing machines are poorly marked and require switching all the wires around just to swap from flux core to gas shielded mig leaving you unsure about what to plug in where. On this unit, for example, to switch polarity, you put the polarity swap cable in the clearly marked positive or negative and to help you cheat, it even is labeled gas and flux. (The pictures haven't been updated on the amazon listing) So far I've only tried gas shielded mig on this (75% argon, 25% CO2) .30 solid wire on 1/8" plate. I was really impressed with what I saw. It exceeded my expectations. This has gotten extremely long. You can't tell I already love this welder, can you? I'll just wrap this up by saying BUY THIS. You won't be disappointed. Update: The machine tries to turn itself on every 5 seconds after turning it off and the screen comes on then shuts off. This is with the power button off... I sent an email to the manufacturer's email address that you are supposed to use for warranty claims and a whole week later I still have not received any response of any kind. As a result I am lowering my rating a bit on this as they do not return email and have no phone number you can call. This is a really cool machine, but buyer beware because the manufacturer isn't reachable. I had Amazon send me another of these and I'm going to send this one back. Update 2: The replacement welder did the same thing where the display flashed on every 5 seconds or so after turning it off. It does it for a couple of minutes. Perhaps it's discharging built up energy, but does not affect the performance of the machine. TL/DR: very cool and powerful machine at an awesome price. It does it all and works great, however the manufacturer does not return correspondence and the screen flashes every 5 seconds or so for a couple of minutes after turning it off for whatever reason, but it does not affect performance of the welder.

Good: Will weld 1/4 and even 3/8 mild steel Very adjustable in both heat and wire feed rate Can weld multiple ways (currently I have only used mig) Bad: The gas line is garbage and you will need to replace it The supplied gun is at a slack angle so it is not comfortable for table top work Line feed seems almost as if it’s not smooth like it studders rather than a smooth feed Very “soft” arc, not a crisp snap of more expensive machines All things considered it is an okay machine. If this was my first welder I’d choose a mainstream name like Lincoln, Miller, Hobart, etc. learning on a better machine is worth the extra cost. I have included a picture of a butt weld on dirty 1/4 inch mild steel. Also, a picture of this welder’s gun (blue) compared to a Lincoln (black). I have only used it as a wire feed mig machine so far. .035 wire with gas. My experience welding is 30 years mig and arc. 10 of those years doing production in house welding and fabrication for a living. The rest a current time is “farm” welding. Long story short, if this your first welder I would pass on this one. If you have another machine this is an okay backup or do all machine.

My transformer type MIG welder was getting tired so I purchased this Inverter model. I was not sure where it was made but on the box it said Made in China. I came with all the accessories as described. I just had to change the power plug to a 16 Amp plug, load some wire, connect the CO2 cylinder and start to set it up. In around 10 mins I got it set to weld 1.5mm steel plate, weld is very consistent but I am sure I can adjust even better. What I noticed is that the ground cable and torch are very light so its aluminium, most probably I will hook up my old ones as these are copper and heavy duty. Other than that so far so good. All in all its alot of welding machine for the purchase price.

Haven’t had much of chance to use it yet but can say the product support works as I’m getting help learning the specific features of this unit.

I’m not a welder Taking a while to dial it in using gas and 240 volts. With that said my welds not very nice looking but they hold. So blame me not the welder much better than my 110 welder.
