Rit Dye All Purpose Liquid Dye 236ml - Kelly Green RITLD

Did a great job.

First time using this product. So so easy to use. I put my tired old rug into my washer put the dye in soap drawer poured some hot water in, after ten minutes I added a cup of salt and hot water into the soap drawer and left it to do it's own think. I hung it out on the line to dry very happy with the results.

After considering buying a new sofa, buying custom made sofa covers, etc I decided to try to dye my covers which had become extremely faded in the sunlight. It was a simple process using stainless steel double sink. Using the Rit website I found the colour I needed and mixed two different colours together. Very good result and I even dunked my old underwear in the leftover dyebath so my knickers now match the sofa!!!

Used this to over dye some bright red silk to make it a browner shade of red. Worked very well following instructions and the results were very even with no patchiness. Would use again.

I tried to dye white acrylic faux fur with kelly green and they went blue????? good dye just not right colour for me??

Very easy and clear instructions to use. This is the garment still wet. I bought this because I had to use two different cotton yarns to finish a crochet dress. Sadly the two yarns didn’t dye the exact same colour but still very close. Maybe should have left it in the dye a bit longer. This was after 45 minutes..

Doesn't match the green of the packaging. Dyed a white shirt and got a very unsubtle almost day glo green. Looks rubbish.

I was looking to change the color of my vintage and very rare Gaelic Boston Red Sox shirt, which I love but loathed the dark green, leaving me to wear it only 3 times since 2007. I bought the Rit Color remover and a bottle of the Rit Kelly green dye and went in with my fingers crossed. I used the stove top method for both. I also followed with the Rit Color fixative to seal in the Kelly green. After the color removal and dye process, it was a complete success and I am in love with the color and how well it turned out. I have been using RIT products for years and will not use anything else because the quality is that good.

It arrived super fast and the shirt turned out great. I was happy it ended up the right shades.

looked exactly like the dye color, overlooked the fact part of my fabric wouldnt dye but i think it still looked cute and achieved the goal

Followed the directions & added half the bottle to the water & dyed so white slip on Vans (size 12 men’s). Turned out perfect.

The color is nice but it was actually a little bit too bright for what I needed. If you’re a novice to dyeing clothes or crafts, keep in mind the dye will take to different fabrics very differently. I’m making a costume and the dye soaked in super fast to the set I had, maybe 15 minutes and it got DARK. For the chiffon fabric I was Dyeing, it took a long time to take and I ended Up adding turmeric to the dye bath to add some yellow tones. Mistakes were made but I’m not mad at it. Keep these things in mind when dyeing your projects!!!
