Well worth the price. Lifesaver for teaching to ski!!!
Amazing tool for teaching kids. As others have said I had taken my 5 year old 3 times just flat out exhausted with tow ropes and holding him between my legs and he couldn't not figure out how to pizza and get down hill on his own. Put these on and first time down he was making great pizza shapes and going down the hill all by himself. If you haven't bought this you need to.2 cautions though- (1) plastic if you ski over it, it can break easily - we've used 3 times and one of the clips the very top of latch handle broke off as he skied over my skis. But it still works fine. (2) the way it grips the ski it will slightly damage the base of the ski - leaves the metal gripping marks into the end of skis but if you like me and buy used skis it's well worth it knowing after a few times of using this they are ready to go. You would need to re-wax skis to fix this. I will try to add a pic to show this.A great $10-$15 investment. Will be using on my other kids as they learn as well.

Great while it lasted...which unfortunately wasn't that long
A little background: I have a five year old that is learning to ski. One afternoon I took him to the local ski resort, tried to teach him how to ski myself (lessons were sold out) and lots of tears ensued. He just really struggled to do a wedge. Needless to say, that night I was googling "How to teach a kid to ski" and came across a product like this. I checked out my options on Amazon and based on reviews went with this one.As soon as it arrived, I took him back to the ski resort and put him in a one hour lesson. I told the instructor I had this tool and he said, "let's give it a try". 45 minutes into a one hour lesson, he was doing so well with it that the instructor had him up on the ski lift going down some green slopes. I was *IMPRESSED*. The instructor even commented on how he liked the design of the Wedgease better than their competitor. At this point I was actually looking forward to our upcoming ski weekend and skiing beyond the magic carpet area. I was even texting a couple friends with similar-aged kids telling them that they needed to order these ASAP so that they'd have them in time for the weekend too.Flash forward to the ski weekend: We put my son in another one hour lesson. It held up beautifully. Instructor #2 also commented on how great it was. So far we've used it for 2 hours. My son and I then skied for another hour and that's when the trouble began. One side kept popping off WHILE skiing. Granted, we were only on green slopes but still... there's some steep hills.... and he's 5. Imagine a frantic parent screaming, "PIZZA, PIZZA, PIZZA" at their kid. Yep, that was me. It got to the point that I just had to take it off because it would not stay on for an entire green slope run. The rubber on it was ripped up (see pic) which I suspect is the culprit.I'm super bummed because I love the concept, clearly the ski instructors found it to be superior to the competitor but the rubber on it just doesn't appear to be as durable as it needs to be because it really should last more than 3 hours of use.

These are a MUST for children
This product is genius. I have 4 year old twins who ski at two different levels and I can say without a doubt without these clips neither of them would be going anywhere. Background information: My one child is more daring and has been skiing since the age of 2 (half their life!) while the other more cautious child just started this year. Our beginner pizza's down a hill while the more advanced skier weaves between people with finesse with no help of us parents. My beginner child uses them along with a Lucky Bums backpack system (another must) with 80cm skis while my more advanced child has these on their 90's. We thought that our child on the 90's who skis on their own wouldn't need a set of the Wedgease but we were wrong. We learned through experience and Google research that children under a certain age lack the muscle development to hold their skis properly.I've seen reviews on breaking clips, we have not had any issues with the two that we have and we have had quite the tumbles happen with them both. They have not left a mark on either set of skis either which was a concern for us (we don't rent but rather buy and sell our skis).Do not hesitate to purchase ski connectors for your child. It makes the world of difference!

I used this connector with my 5 year old twins and am thrilled!
I have 5 year old twins (a boy and a girl). Originally I ordered one pink and one blue (for obvious reasons) :) But I only received the pink ones. I was worried my son would have an issue - but luckily there was no problem since he didn't know there were any other options. :)This ski tip connector is AWESOME! I used it in addition to the Lucky Bums Harness (which is also great - especially the handle. We are no longer using the leash, but we keep the harness because the handle makes it easy to pick up our kids when they fall, or getting them onto the ski lift etc.)We used these connectors until our kids felt comfortable with taking them off (around 4 days of skiing), and they are now doing great without them.Basically it puts their skis in the right position with no crossing or issue.I note others have said it broke. I also note that those reviews are a couple of years old. So I wonder if they have improved the product - because we have had no issues with either connector. They go on and off easily. And we had no problems.I absolutely recommend these. They were great!!!

Must have for first time / beginner kids
These things were awesome. Took my 6 year old and 3 year old skiing for the first time and by day two they were able to go down the bunny hill. The two key components were these clips and a harness backpack with leash straps. The harness allowed me to control their speed and help them on and off the chairlift. The clips made it so they could only snowplow or keep their skis parallel. I saw a several other parent/kid combos with just the harness, but the kids often lost control by having their tips spread apart resulting in a fall.If I could, I'd probably give it 4.5 stars as they did unclip from the skis several times during our trip. Having to reclip them was a bit annoying, but I suppose there's some sort of balance between clipping too tight and leaving marks on the skis.

Essential for ski lessons!
Fabulous product - essential piece of kit for young kids learning to ski. As a ski instructor I highly recommend this. I feel at £29 it is a hefty price, but couldn't work without it.

Doesn't perform like similar products
These connectors do not have a great hold on the ski. The claws twist on the bottom and scratch the base of the ski tip. We bought a different product for my oldest child. Absolutely loved it thought we'd by the better product based on price, unfortunately it doesn't perform as well as the less expensive product.

Much have learn to ski tool.
Game changer! They hold my daughters ski tips together and made learning to ski so much easier. Also prevents the skis from crossing.

Briser
Très déçu car sur une des pinces les petites dents métalliques n’ont pas tenu donc cela a pour effet que l’attache ne tien plus sur le ski :( et ce après 2 utilisations...
