Small but powerful.
The most amazing FM receiver. So small and portable. Once you get the trick, tuning is easy. It’s so compatible with my WiiM amp. I still wonder how such a small device has so much compatibility. The instructions lacks clarity though it’s very simple. They could elaborate a little more. I highly recommend this little wonder.

Exactly what I wanted!
This FM receiver is exactly what I was looking for! The best feature is the 30 foot long corded antenna that allows installing the antenna high up on the roof. The reception with the antenna up high is great! Lots of channels come in crystal clear. Simple to operate and flawless operation from the start. I hooked it to my Polk sound bar and it sounds much better than any of my other radios.

Good little radio - but not hi fi
Heres why I went I went with a 3 ...sound quality. Give this unit a little more bass and I would of gone 5. I was looking for something to add decent FM radio to a small living room setup. Device with lots of potential. First of all, the reviews of weak/bad reception would be from people not familiar with the ins and outs of FM radio reception, antenna placement and technical limits of FM radio given steaming options these days. I picked up stations over 60 miles away with the basic antenna provided (nice long cord by the way, thanks for that). and just setting it in a corner on the floor . The radio is actually pretty cool for the price BUT .. the audio quality for music purposes is definitely not going to be up to the quality of a separate component receiver (with the help of a EQ you might be ok). I listen to a local station for talk radio and the sound and signal was excellent for that, but music, no .. I would say its on par with the free Android Fm streaming services and sound quality from them. Channel separation was decent, memory and station preset and selection was fine. I really like the form factor and design. If you just want a FM receiver.. a 5, if you want a good sound source for FM.. its a 3 (even with separate bass and treble controls on the amp). I will keep it based on the smallness, functionality and overall design. I just wont count on it for a good audiophile sound source. Theres kind of a resurgence in vintage audio, tube amps and small class D amps but theres a lack of a decent new (non vintage) FM audio source that fits on a desktop with these little amps. I would encourage Facmogu to work on some nice built in eq options or improve the sound of the audio. Update - as I use it more... Going to a 4...finding I just use it for talk radio and news.

Great little receiver
Was a little concerned when I first turned it on as it wouldn’t tune properly. After I had it run the automatic search it works perfectly. The antenna cord length is perfect to place the antenna near the window with the little receiver on my desk. Can now enjoy radio in my office without blaring my living room stereo. I had looked at a portable radio when I cam across this. I’ve got nice desk speakers so this seemed like the perfect fit and it is.

I'd Look for Something Else. . .
The unit is much smaller than I expected and has almost no weight. While that makes it easy to carry around it still needs wall power and external speakers so it's not meant to be a hand unit. Due to the lack of weight the wires that run to signal and power drag it all over my desk and I might have to double side tape it down. The controls are simple, but. . .there could be more of them. Having additional buttons on a unit like this would actually be beneficial to multi-function controls that need to be tapped or held to toggle to what you want. For me the tuner only seems to catch like 3 channels even with the antenna up, but, I didn't factor that into my 3 star review because that could be the fault of my location. All in all I'd look for something else. If this unit were battery powered it would be at the top of its class, but since it requires so many external connections and it's so prone to being dragged around by the weight of the wires providing those connections it makes more sense to get a heavier, higher quality, unit. . .especially for the price. The irritating thing is that it's such an easy problem to solve. If they had just put some rubber feet on the bottom end this wouldn't be an issue, but it is smooth aluminum all the way around.

FM tuner for home audio
it does exactly what it's supposed to do fantastic tuner locks in all sorts of channels versus my car radio I mean what are you getting nowadays for 20 or 30 bucks two Happy meals and a soda hahaha go ahead and buy it without even thinking about it one of the best investments I ever made for a couple dollars usually that kind of stuff ends up in the junk drawer by the end of the week but this product proves itself all the way excellent quality so sorry to earn this place and will not end up in the junk drawer if it keeps up working the way it has been

Frustrating rotary dial encoder
Aside from the issue of it not receiving strong FM stations that other radios receiver, its rotary dial does not behave if rotated too quickly. If incrementing upward, each slow tick increases the frequency, but too fast and it starts decreasing. It has the potential to be a great product, but the electrical execution was poor.

Neat Little FM Receiver - Works Fine WIth Included Antenna
I needed an inexpensive FM receiver, with external antenna, to pair with my JBL Boombox 2 for the drive in theater, and this checked the box. Controls are easy enough to figure out without the "instructions" sent. Under $40 USD, includes antenna, 33' of antenna cable, mount, and all the wires needed to work. I power it off of either the JBL Boombox USB charger port, or off of a 12,000 mAH battery pack I got w/ a fan, low power consumption means it runs for a good long while. It's small, fits right in the bag w/ the speaker, and when connected up to the speaker, and antenna properly placed, stations come in clear and sound is good for what I need it to be. All in all, happy w/ the pricing and functionality of this device. Do yourself a favor, run a full scan on initial power up (w/ antenna connected, properly placed, and receiver in desired location), and then if you move the antenna, do another scan in order for best results. Long press on top dial gives you "finer" search control, but one click doesn't necessarily equal 1kHz change/step, takes some getting used to.
