Excellent ice mold to make big blocks for our ice plunge/ cold bath. It doesn’t melt quickly like a bag of ice. I also use it in our cooler when traveling and it lasts without making a mess on the food

I use these in my yeti so that the ice lasts much longer than small ice cubes. I’ve gone on trips with this and it has slowly melted over 2 to 3 days keeping my stuff nice and cold

In order to use them you have to have something on each side in the freezer to keep the mold in shape, otherwise it will collapse on the sides and water will spill out. For the same reason it’s also hard to fill and walk to the freezer because you don’t have enough hands to keep all the sides upright under weight of the water.

These small blocks will not lower temperature at all in an ice bath. You would need about 20, Problem is, you can't stack them in the freezer. So ultimately pointless.

These silicone ice molds are nice and big. You have to be careful when you put it in the freezer so that it’s up against something so the side doesn’t bulge out, if you need a perfect rectangle ice cube. Otherwise, that’s not a big deal. We got these to put in our portable mini ac that requires water. Since we are using it to cool down our attic room, and it is extra hot up there, the ice works well in helping the little AC to do its job. The ice comes out of these molds nice and easy. $14 for two of them is a little high, but there is a 50% coupon available.
