I ordered this chair after my Respawn chair of 6 years started to deteriorate. Upon doing research, many said that Dowinx was a great brand and specifically that the ergonomic chair was comfortable, long-lasting, and a decent price. Firstly, the chair game much faster than expected which was a huge bonus. Living in an age of prime shipping I have become rather impatient and it showed up in 2 days. Next, the assembly instructions were extremely clear and I was able to put 95% of it together myself (only needing help for placing the back of the chair). My only quarrel is that the seat cushion is smaller than I expected. I am 5'3" and about 180 lbs and as someone who likes to sit criss-cross, it is possible to but it isnt as comfortable as it was in my respawn chair. I can sit normally very comfortably but I do feel restricted trying to sit any other way (which when I game I tend to move around a lot). The back of the chair is thinner than I was expecting, however this isnt necessarily a bad thing. The pillows sit well on the chair and complement my back. The back being smaller does make the chair significantly lighter which is a bonus to me. Overall, I would recommend this chair for someone who is smaller set and is on a budget. The overall quality of the chair is spectacular, the base of the chair is metal and the fabric feels extremely durable. So far, I am a big fan. The only reason I likely won't repurchase or purchase one for my partner is because of the size being smaller than I expected.

There are no painful pressure points, you never feel the hard base underneath, and even after an all-day session, it feels just as supportive as when I first sat down. This cloth fabric is breathable, soft, and stays comfortable for hours on end. No more peeling myself off the chair. The Footrest: I thought it would be a gimmick, but being able to kick my feet up between matches or while watching a long cutscene makes a massive difference in preventing leg fatigue. The Lumbar Massage: The pillow provides great lower back support on its own, but the simple vibration massage is a fantastic bonus. It genuinely helps to loosen up my lower back and prevent the stiffness that used to plague me. Adjustability: The recline is deep and stable, so you can properly stretch out when you need a break without feeling like you're going to tip over. If you are a serious gamer, a streamer, or anyone who spends a significant amount of time at a desk, you owe it to your body to get a comfortable chair. Overall this is a decent chair and I think worth the value. But it was not right for my needs so I returned it. First of all, it is small-medium size. I posted a picture because a lot of folks claimed it was small but I saw no photos of an adult male sitting in one. I am 5’11” and 160 lbs. It is just wide enough for me to be comfortable but if I was overweight it would feel tight. My main concern was with the height. As another reviewer mentioned, taller adults will have to mount the head pillow on top of the chair and not through the holes where it is designed. With this modification it is barely big enough for me. If I was any taller I’d say no way. The sturdiness of the chair is a 7/10. I didn’t have any squeaks like others mentioned but the arm rests did seem a little wobbly. The chair felt sturdy enough for me but it is lighter duty. If someone was over 200lbs it might feel pretty marginal. I think if I kept it I would have to baby it. Such as not plop down in it too hard and just treat it delicately. Comfort was okay. The lower seat is stiff but others report a break in period. I did not keep it long enough to find out. It does seem like there is enough padding there but it is just stiff padding. So those claims have merit I think. The back has little padding and the lumbar pillow and neck pillow would be mandatory IMO. Without the lumbar pillow your lower back would ache immensely because it has a concave design there. Without the neck pillow the seat back is just too stiff. But I think this is expected of gaming chairs. The instructions are clear and it should not take you more than 30 minutes to assemble. Overall Dowinx seems like a very reputable company. Everything seems very professional. The color is beautiful and the material feels great. That’s the only thing that made it hard to return. If it was bigger and had a little more padding in the back, I would have kept it. The four star review is mostly because I think it is smaller than it should be and in the photos it looks like it would fit an adult male easily. I really wanted to like this chair and I can tolerate it, but in a few months I feel I would regret not having more room to relax in it. It barely fits my body. I hope my review helps others trying to make a decision and struggling with the same concerns.

I can’t say enough good things about the Dowinx Gaming Chair! I was looking for a chair that would be comfortable enough for long work-from-home days and also perfect for relaxing while gaming — this chair checks ALL the boxes. The pocket spring cushion feels like sitting on a luxury sofa — no more sore back or stiff legs. The breathable fabric is a lifesaver (especially in summer), and the gel pad adds an extra layer of cooling comfort. The reclining feature + footrest is perfect for when I want to take a quick break or watch a movie. It was super easy to assemble, feels very sturdy and high quality, and the look is just beautiful — the beige color fits perfectly with my home office decor. After using this chair for several weeks, I can confidently say it has improved my comfort, posture, and even productivity. If you’re thinking about buying it — DO IT! You won’t regret it.

So my chair lasted 10 months of daily use. It was structurally weak underneath the chair where it connects to the metal base. I did like reclining at an angle and eventually because the welds are so weird that it began to bend both backwards and to one side. The chair was also structurally weak where the arms screw in on the sides of the buttrest (or whatever you want to call it) to the point to where the armrests just wiggle back and forth despite tightening the bolt every week or so. Overall good comfortable chair but for the approx $150 I spent - I would go with something else perhaps.

I originally bought this chair for myself, and I ended up getting more for the entire office. No one has had a single complaint, and it’s been one of the best purchases we’ve made. I've had many office & gaming chairs over the years, and this one is the best. It is the most comfortable, adjustable, and easy to assemble of any of my previous chairs. I especially like the coil springs & dense foam making up the inside of the seat. Still comfortable after hours of focused graphics work, and the chair looks good too :)

Edit: It’s now 14 months later and I’m about 50 pounds under the recommended weight limit, and 14 months later this chair’s Gas Cyclinder snapped on me and it’s now permanently bent backwards. Trying to get into contact with support but haven’t received word in 2 days now from their official website. So be weary when buying this chair, it is comfortable and I wish I could sit in it still, but the gas cyclinder broke (the thing that you use to recline adjust up or down) so this ain’t something I can fix on my own. I ordered my chair and it Shipped pretty damn quick, my only issue is, and I’m pretty sure it’s just my local USPS’ problem, but I had to go pick it up myself after 2 days of them refusing to deliver it. So the chair itself, The armrests are absolutely amazing, the chair’s quality is amazing, I don’t slide around on the chair, the cloth is nice and gentle. I’m 5’10 and the headrest pillow is just slightly below my head, but it feels fine. The assembly was pretty easy, the booklet you get with it seems big, but it’s just different Languages, it initially frightened me until I found out, it’s only like 2 pages of assembly, and it’s idiot-proof, I have little faith in my ability to accurately put something together, and I did fine for this chair lol I’m a bit of a chubby guy, and I still have a bit of room when sitting down to lean to the side or something, the chair fits like a glove that isn’t overly tight or anything like that, genuinely have no issues with the fit of the chair The sturdiness is a little questionable I’d say, I went back and forth and tightened everything I’d felt like I needed to, and I’m not sure if it’s a feature or an error, but like I said, I can lean to the side some in the chair, but when I do, if I’m pushing against the back rest, it’ll kinda come with me I guess you could say, I don’t think it’s gonna break off or anything like that, but I’ve tightened the screws several times, nothing I could’ve done, so I hope it’s a feature Performance is incredibly good. It sits real high or real low, my desk is a higher wood desk, and it sits me real high up at the highest setting below the chair, I actually have to look down at that setting to see my monitor lol I personally have not tried the Recliner, but I do have a small issue with it, so when I sit, it is right at the edge of my chair, by no means is it in my way, but I typically like to put my legs under my chair when I’m sitting, with this chair it’s rather difficult since the footrest when not used is right below me. It also is a little crooked itself when it comes assembled, at least Mine was, nothing I assembled, just how it came. But even with that, it’s not a glaring issue at all Value for Money? Do it. If you’re gonna splurge on something probably gonna be spending a LOT of time in like myself, wether it be for gaming or work or what have you, this chair is worth it 100%. I originally didn’t plan to spend more than like $130 on a new gaming chair, but I’m glad I bought this chair, and I’m confident you will be too.

I bought this chair to replace my son’s current gaming chair that is made out of imitation leather. He has had that chair for a few years and it is all cracked and although I have tried to fix it with vinyl adhesive covering, it just keeps peeling off. This chair is a nice fabric and was easy to put together by myself. I like the lumbar massage option as well and it is comfortable to sit on. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a decent priced chair that isn’t made of something that is going to crack over time.

Got delivered in a dis assembled state. Manual was helpfull to put it together. Clear instructions and steps. No rattle or shake after assembly. Cam get it assembled in 20 mins, 30 mins tops in worst case. Chair is wide enough for an average build person. Arm rest is ergonomical and comfortable. VFM product. Caster wheels are so smooth, no noise at all. Glides on indoor surfaces. Excellent build quality and I will certainly recommend the product.
