## Questions & Answers

**Q: The one I purchased is not air-tight.  I can easily press on the top and air goes out and then comes back in.  Is this a defective one?**
A: No, it is not a defective one. Although it says airtight lid, it does not have a rubber sealant or anything similar to make it "airtight". What keeps your paint workable is the wetness of the paper and sponge more than the lid. However, the lid helps conserve the moisture for a longer time.

**Q: if the paper dries does it need another hot water bath?**
A: I spray it with a water bottle a few time while im on a big project. I also wash it out with the sink sprayer gently on hot.  This allows me to reuse it several times.

**Q: does this work for oil painting?**
A: Try storing it in the freezer with your oils, if your going to be leaving the paint for more than a couple of days.  You can do this without the palette, but I don’t know how well it will work with the damp sponge and paper, which will both freeze. Work around with it, with freezer in mind, and see what works best. I haven’t used oils in years, and have never tested it with the wet palette, but i using a regular storage container worked well in the freezer. Keeps the oils fresh for days.

**Q: Can you use this palette paper for oil paint**
A: Yes, I use the paper for oil paints and mediums.  The paper palette is perfect for easy cleanup.  I do not use the sponge when oil paints are in the palette.  I close the lid to keep my paints pliable for days.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have for people who want to paint, but don't have a lot of time

As a new mom, I haven't been able to focus much on my painting since the arrival of my precious bbgoth a few months ago, which was to be expected. I no longer have hours on end to mix my paint and use them before they dry, and a retarder only goes so far. This palette is a game changer for me. I mixed my paints on a Sunday, was able to start a painting on Tuesday and work on it through the day whenever I had 20 minutes here and there. A week later? Still wet! No more trying to remix and match colors from a week ago! I was able to rinse the palette paper clean to use again; even though the paper and sponge are stained, it's reusable and still good for a few more sessions. The lid means I don't have to worry about my cat "helping" if I have to step away, which is a definite plus to boot. Most importantly, this product has helped me regain a sense of normalcy and a shred of my former identity even as I embrace my new role in life as a mom.
