Really love these, I've put one in our 4Runner and one in the Tundra and these are super functional additions to the Ram Mounting systems. This track allows for your Ram mounting balls to be quick mounted in multiple positions along a line. I love being able to easily add a ball to add an extra accessory mount, but then being able to remove it easily when not in use. I got creative with mine and used nuts to create a stand off for mine so I could mount it in the gutter on my Tundra's dash. Strong product that has held up, I've had this installed for about a month and even in the configuration you see in the picture it's allowed for sturdy mounting of multiple devices while off-roading.

Following another review I also installed this on the dashboard of my 2nd gen Toyota Tacoma.I removed the radio assembly before hand to drill the holes and install hardware.The ram mount flexes a little but it seemed to flex the dash more than the ram mount while I was tightening the screws.

If you have two or more things you want to mount in the same area, this could be a better way than to install a base for each item individually. Another reason to go for this is if you want to be able to have some adjustment. This makes it easy to slide the ball anywhere on the track.

Using it to mount my dash cam, radar detector and backup monitor. Much more stable and secure than suction cups.
