We hung a fan at each end with a light in the center. The fans look great (blend well with our black/slate color gazebo), move a lot of air, hang from the gazebo loop with an included carabiner clip (super easy), and are fairly quiet even when on the high setting. Amazon asked for a review of the remote, but these do not come with a remote. We purchased a separate outdoor rated extension cord with three outlets and ran it along the edges of the gazebo so that it can reach an exterior outlet when we want to plug them in. We just set them on high so that all we have to do is plug in or out for turning them on or off.
