Best hormone planner - and more!
For years, I've used this guide for planning the dosages of my bio-identical hormones as they vary through the lunar month - perfect! I've noticed this practice keeps me more in touch with the many cycles, such as the exact timing of equinoxes, solstices and solar entry into each zodiacal sign. I also like the 'opportunity period' feature, i.e. "After Moon squares Neptune today until void-of-course Moon on Tuesday. Highly productive two days, although in the last lunar quarter, it's better to follow through on earlier plans than to start new projects." . . . it's always good to be nudged to finish stuff! This guide has also alerted me to the ongoing conflict between Uranus and Pluto, the old guard and the new, who will make seven exact squares between June 2012 and March 2015. This year (April 2014), Jupiter and Mars moved into that resonance, creating a Grand (Cardinal) Cross: ". . . a time for the world to change (Uranus), to expand its horizons (Jupiter), to mobilize its forces (Mars), and to transform its institutions (Pluto)." A powerful moment of choice for all of us, made even more of a sublime opportunity in that lucky Jupiter was conjunct Sirius (13 Cancer), our Stellar heritage, bringing an opportunity for Hope . . .

A wonderful and entertaining guide for the trends occurring during the year.
I'm so grateful to the Llewellyn publishers for this really fine calendar and planetary guide. The articles by Jim Shawvan are especially helpful. Jim's treatise on "Finding Opportunity Periods" is INVALUABLE!!! Great descriptions of the planets, signs and houses and how they interact in the birth chart are included. Very useful for beginners and for experienced astrologers too. A great refresher for each of these topics. I love the yearly overview and the entertaining and optimistic explanation of trends and influences in the section that describes specific time periods during the year. Also, for anyone reading this, remember that the stars and planets do not control us, they merely track where energies are likely to go. It is the breathing of the universe. Another publication I like a lot is the Mountain Astrologer magazine.OK, jump in and buy this wonderful planetary guide. Have fun and allow this great tool to assist you in your life. :-)

Best buy for your money!
I have been buying one of these every year for probably twenty years. They are the best desk/date calendar I have ever used. Buying one is worth it, just to be able to track the Mercury Retrogrades! However, there is a lot of accurate and useful information included in the guide that will appeal to every astrology fan. And, it is all laid out in a easily understood format. I've looked around, but never found another planetary guide that was as easy and convenient to use. It even has the Ephemeris tables for 2015. Technical enough for an advanced astrologer, easy and concise enough for a beginner. This is actually a pretty amazing little guide!

Outstanding for all levels of astrology students.
I've been buying these planetary guides for nearly 15 years. They are chock-full of astrology info, including daily transits; retrograde periods, an ephemeris, a forecast for the year by week, eclipse dates, the meaning of the signs, the meaning of the moon in each sign, what the houses represent and more. Just by reading and studying this little guide, along with making notes for yourself as the days pass (there's plenty of room to write activities and plans for each day), you can learn a lot about astrology. I can't recommend it enough.

love this calendar - but oops - I put the review for it on the 2015 Moon Sign book. Hope Amazon can switch that review to this book. The Moon Sign book is excellent as well. I take the info in that book and move it to the Daily Planetary Guide to see which days are favorable or unfavorable in general for appointments or buying airline tickets, or scheduling a Dr. apt, etc. These are all based on your Sun Sign.

They need to make these in hardcover, it's so worth it.
It's totally worth what I paid for, if they had this with a hardcover and a metallic spiral, I would be even more pleased! I honestly wouldn't mind having to pay a bit more for this one, the info is just what I needed and the introduction to astrology is nice. I am using it as a journal and not really as a planner, if I had this all around in bags and backpacks, the cover would probably come off really fast.

Yearly must have by a very trustworthy, accurate source.
This is the mostamazing, right on book.I buy one every year because if I don't, retrograde and other planetary stuff sneak up on me. It's got some other cool knowledge in it to, like writing out your own birth chart, what the houses and planets mean, the summary of each week, etc.. I can't say enough good things. Worth it's weight in Gold!

My favorite calendar
I've been buying this calendar for years. Love that it has the planets shown daily on the pages along with the new and full moon and retrograde planets. I like the weekly review also. Use this daily and only wish it was spiral bound.
