These govee lights, like all my other govee products, did not disappoint. Easy installation and tons of possibilities.

I can say enough good things about this smart light. It’s solid, nice looking and endlessly customizable. And you save yourself from buying a dimmer switch. Since everything is controlled through the Govee Home App. I know there is a newer version of this, but I prefer this one. It’s better looking (IMO). And I don’t need 4 way lighting and additional features. Super easy to install. Do read the instructions. It’s different than other lights because you need to hook the fixture onto the bracket before screwing it in. I wish they all did this. It makes for a strong and easy installation. I didn’t feel I needed to use the side screws. Since it’s already under a covered patio (no water concerns). For $80 you get a very solid smart light that is easy to control. If there an open box ‘like new’ option that’s a little cheaper, skip it. I’ve had some bad experiences with the supposed ‘like new’ open box lights. Amazon doesn’t appear to actually inspect them or test them.

Highly recommend. So many options for colors, patterns, motion, timing. It’s almost overwhelming. Plus, you can create your own and share them as other users share theirs. Solid construction, easy installation.

These light are light weight, very easy to install and the most versatile and powerful patio light I have ever owned. Anyone can install these. After you install the lights and apply power, they will automatically illuminate to a default color. Simply download the app as instructed to unleash the incredible lighting features. You can select a single color, adjust the intensity or use an almost infinite number of themes or color combinations and spectrums. They will even have music/sound based illumination themes. It used to cost this much money for a simple patio light that only provided a single illumination. These lights are low profile and very attractive on the wall.

I purchased 3 of these and installed them as our primary outdoor lighting sconces. They look great at night and during the day. They are very bright. we run around 30-40% to be on par with our neighbors lights. Many reviews say they look cheap, I do agree, but that's because they've probably mounted them their cheap house with vinyl siding. I mounted 2 on vinyl, they look totally fine, much better than a big-box store lamp style light, the only difficulty is getting them flush and finding the right depth to set the mounting plate so the siding is not pushing the fixture out of plumb. The review is only 4 stars because one of the lights died within a week with a professional installation (I am the professional), I am in the process of getting replaced it via the app with their "rapid replacement" feature.

We bough this product back in October '24 and installed it shortly there after. I waited to write this review because I wanted to see how it held up to our rain and storm months. I am here to say that this product is well worth the money that I spent on it. The build quality is pretty good, able to hold up to some heavy storms here on the west coast. The install was pretty easy, just had to remove the already installed light and swap the bracket. The wiring was pretty self explanatory. Make sure when you are done that you add a moisture resistant caulking around the outer edges that attach to the wall to prevent water and moisture from getting into the wiring and other parts. This item works well with other govee lights and can be used with the app to help monitor and change all the devices you have registered. The girlfriend has fun changing all of the lights based on the season or occasion. There are multiple presets but you can also add you own which is pretty neat. overall, totally worth it.

I love it! Love all the colors

I admit that I have become a Govee Fangirl. After initially purchasing some floor lamps and discovering how high quality their products are, I slowly starting purchasing more and more. When our outdoor lights started to fail I didn’t hesitate jumping on Amazon and seeing what Govee had to offer for outdoor light. I have to say I was not disappointed after installing these. You can change the colour of these lights to just about anything under the sun, adjust the brightness, and control everything right from your phone. Being able to turn the lights off from the couch when I’m feeling lazy is honestly one of my favourite features! We recently moved into a home where the outdoor lights are controlled by an automatic light sensor and don’t have a traditional light switch. That setup is fine most of the time, but it was frustrating not being able to turn the lights off when we wanted to. These Govee lights solved that problem for us since we can control them from our phones. I also love being able to change the colours for different holidays and seasons—something fun for Halloween, Christmas, or just switching things up throughout the year. The lights have a modern, attractive look, too, so they don’t feel overly flashy when using a more traditional colour. I liked the first one so much that I ended up buying two more to replace all of our outdoor lights. That’s probably the best endorsement I can give! Great functionality, lots of customization, and a really nice modern appearance.

Vraiment génial, je l’ai programmé pour l’ouverture et la fermeture et lorsque j’arrive dans un rayon de 100 mètre avec mon téléphone elle s’allume ce qui est très bien.

These were a breeze to install and the bright white setting is very bright, but not harsh on the eyes. I wish they came in a bigger size though..

Good lights, easy install, tons of color options, but overall style and look with the white lens in the daytime is a little "cheap". Will use for a while, but will likely upgrade eventually to something with better curb appeal.
