A Powerful, Versatile, and Durable Vacuum for Pet Owners!
This cleaner has been a game-changer for keeping my home clean! One of the standout features is how easy it is to carry around. The design is compact and lightweight, making it effortless to maneuver from room to room and up or down the stairs. It's especially handy for homes with multiple levels. The suction power of this vacuum is impressive. Thanks to its dual-motor system, it picks up pet hair, dust, and debris with ease, leaving floors spotless. I was amazed at how it managed to extract pet hair that had embedded itself into carpets and upholstery. The strong suction remains consistent, whether you're vacuuming hard floors or thick rugs, which is critical for a pet-friendly home. Another great feature is the number of accessories that come with it. The vacuum includes four cleaning tools, which are fantastic for various cleaning needs around the house. Whether it's crevices, upholstery, or delicate surfaces, there is an attachment that fits the job perfectly. These tools easily attach to the vacuum, making it versatile for all types of cleaning tasks. Lastly, the durability of the Eureka Canister Vacuum is noteworthy. The materials feel robust and well-made, ensuring that this vacuum can withstand regular use and the occasional bump or knock. Additionally, the retractable cord is a convenient feature that helps with easy storage, and it retracts with a quick tug, adding to the vacuum's overall practicality and durability. Overall, I highly recommend the Eureka Canister Pet Friendly Cleaner to anyone looking for a powerful, versatile, and durable vacuum. Its ease of use, combined with strong suction and a variety of useful accessories, makes it a valuable tool for maintaining a clean and welcoming home, especially for pet owners.

Love this Vac
Love this canister vac vs. the upright because I have a bad shoulder. Canister design works much better for me. This runs so quiet, and has great suction. Tip for longevity empty the canister every time you use the vac. Works like a dream!

Not a well made product
Does not hold up well. I purchased this vacuum from Amazon in August 2025. At first it was a great little vacuum. After a few weeks I noticed it was losing suction. I take the filter out, wash it, etc as recommended. Thatโs does help but I I feel like something else is going on. It was still usable though, just not great suction. Then last week the power to the floor sweeper stopped working. I contacted product support, they asked me to email a video, I did, and was told my vacuum wasnโt covered under warranty. I didnโt argue with that, just said I understood but Iโd like to buy whatever part I needed to fix it, could they please help me troubleshoot that and tell me what part I needed to buy. I never got a response back. I went to YouTube and found a video posted by a nice guy who has no affiliation with Eureka and figured out that the connection wand is my problem. Figured Iโd buy that. Went to the Eureka replacement parts website and canโt find the correct part. I called the customer service number on that website and got a real person on the phone fairly quickly, yay! But when I explained what I needed and told him what vacuum I have he told me they donโt make that replacement part. Itโs not available for purchase. Which seems extremely stupid so I told him that I guess Iโd learned not to buy any Eureka products in the future and he replied by saying heโd learned that for himself about four years ago. So, itโs a crappy product that doesnโt last long and when something breaks on it youโre out of luck.

Compact and lightweight, but packs a punch!
I have been needing to replace my Electrolux vacuum for the last year. It served me well for 10 years, but I could no longer find replacement parts and the warranty has long run out. This eureka is a sleek lightweight vacuum that offers decent suction power. Right out of the box I could appreciate how compact and light it was. The quality is definitely not as high end as my former Electrolux, but it also did not come with the same price tag. Pros: lightweight, compact, adjustable suction power, small brush head that can easily glide under most furniture, simple button to switch from carpet to hard surfaces, tool caddy carries extra heads within reach on vacuum handle, telescopic handle to adjust for different heights, retractable electrical cord, dust cup is easy to clean, washable and reusable filters Cons: shorter electrical cord, vacuum hose seems shorter, cord retraction button and power button are close and I accidentally depress both simultaneously, has a self propelling feature which you have to fight to vacuum slower, overall quality feels cheaper and might mean more repairs over the months/years Altogether, Iโm pleased with the replacement although Iโd still choose an Electrolux hands down if they still made bagless canister vacs. I really tested this little machine, from vacuuming baseboards and blinds to vacuuming the pet hair off my outdoor couch. This truly is an affordable bagless canister vac that does a good job (Iโd say even better than a Dyson). *If you look at my photos you can see how my carpet looked after I used the Eureka (how much it collected in the canister), then how I was still able to pull more fibers from the carpet after with my Electrolux (the canister is again quite full) . I have to add that this is a wool carpet that does a great deal of shedding.

Suction is a 10/10
This vacuum is better than any shark I have ever owned. The suction is amazing, so strong gets everything that my toddlers leave behind. Don't love carrying the canister around but it's pretty light and I like that the cord is retractable.

Motor head overheats.... can only vacuum part of the house at a time.
This is NOT the vacuum for you if you have a lot of carpet. Its fine for a little vacuum, but not good for heavy use! I have 2 floors all carpet (except the kitchen and bathroom) and I have pets. This thing works great while it works, hence the 3 stars, but the motor head overheats!! And then you must turn it off and wait till next time when it decides to work. I returned the first one I'd received because the motor head stopped working abruptly on my very first vacuum!! It wasn't until I got a replacement for the broken one and read reviews more closely that I learned this overheating thing is actually a thing.... its annoying and I cant vacuum the whole house in one go.

There are better out there...I just don't know where they are...
At first, I really liked this vacuum. It's light, easy to maneuver and seemed to have pretty good pickup. I guess being brand new, that should be expected. It is rather quiet, not as loud as some others that I've tried (and I've tried a lot!). If you are working on a short carpet, the floor attachment pulls itself along, so minimal effort is needed. This would probably be a good machine for someone who doesn't have kids or animals and works in an office so they are not tracking in a lot of dirt, dust, hair, etc. If you have pets, this is NOT a good machine. If you have thick carpet, the suction on this machine is not enough to get anything deep down. If you have kids and/or someone who works outside and brings in a good amount of debris, this is not the machine for you. Pros: *Light *Compact *Relatively long hose with telescoping wand *Semi-quiet *Self propelled on short carpet Cons: *Suction is lacking. *Telescoping wand gets blocked up with hair, any piece of debris (paper, tissue, grass, leaf, etc.) that is more than about 1/2" in width--probably because it is telescoping, the inside of the wand gets too narrow. Definitely will get blocked if you pickup something like a bread bag tie or an errant paper clip (which it will struggle to get up into the machine in the first place). *To empty the bagless container, you must click the container out of the main compartment, which is easy, but then you have to grab the top of the container and turn the canister upside down, whereupon the filter falls out into the trash on top any dust that has dropped out, making a plume of dirt and you have to fish it out. If you have pets with hair or humans with long hair, the section of the container that has the internal filter, where the debris first enters the container, the hair gets stuck all around the filter and you must use your hands to pull out the dirt. YUCK. But you've already gotten your hands full of dirt fishing out the other filter. I have had to do this almost on every empty. *Putting the bagless container back onto the unit can be tricky and has to be lined up just so or it won't click in. *The floor piece with wand attached will NOT stand up on its own and will fall down if not propped up against something, so if you stop to move something while working, you cannot just leave it with nothing to lean on or it will fall. *The floor piece will not pick up anything along the edge...so if you are vacuuming up against a wall, it will not pick up any debris for about 3/4' to 1" from the wall, so you must do ALL edging with the hose. *If there is any part of the floor that is not level, say going from carpeted to hardwood, the suction is not enough to pick up anything on either surface. And since it doesn't pick up anything along the edge, you'll have to take the floor piece off and use the hose/wand to pick up any debris in the 1.5" to 2" span over where there are two different surfaces. *The cord is much too short. I cannot even vacuum my entire living room without unplugging and moving to another outlet. My living room is not that large. *Extra attachments (narrow extension and dust brush) fit onto a clip that clips on the wand...which you won't want to leave there because it makes the wand even more unbalanced and will fall over, and when you the unit is in use, if it touches anything, the attachments will fall off. So you end up putting them in the closet where you can never find them when you need them. This vacuum would most likely be good for someone who does not have a heavy vacuum load in their home. But, if you have kids, pets or an outside job, I would not recommend it.
