Mated to My Bully Paperback – 5 Jun. 2023

I started reading this book on Readict, but I decided to buy it to read on my Kindle. It turns out, it’s not the complete book. I’m very disappointed!

This book is my introduction to the genre. I won't quite say I'm hooked (yet), but I will definitely read more by this author. It showed up in an ad for a reading app in the game I was playing on my phone ... a lightly abridged version of the first two chapters. I. Was. Hooked.The author is "young" at her craft. She could use some editors and beta readers, but I was still sucked in BIG TIME. I could not stop till I was done ... at 6:30 this morning. After sleeping, I came here and bought the Kindle edition.The story is well paced (I would like to see it fleshed out some, not as descriptive as I'd like). Nice plot twists. Lots of reveals and surprises-- only one of which I saw coming as soon but only after the hint dropped. I mean, you knew the character was up to her eyeballs in *something* but I was never quite sure what until then. The red herring was a delightful (and complicated) twist. I really like the way she handled the mind speech. I liked her take on shape-shifters. Like I said, this is my introduction to the genre, so it is quite possible that is the norm.Damn good story. And, now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go read it again. Yep. It's that good.... what happened to Calvin?

These books just pull you in and leave you wanting more. The suspense is killing me. Is Amanda a wolf after all?

Took a little time for character build at the beginning, but could've indulge more. Feeling the it was rushed, by the end. And left in suspense of more.

I like the story ok but to get the whole pack is $30 and each book is only 100 pages long. Just feel for the price more should be with it. Most books are less than $9.99 and they usually have more than 300 pages per book. The book just seems to be so little. Nothing significant happens in this book so you have to purchase the 2nd book. Kind of disappointing to be honest.
