Yes, it works very well with all the plants that I have planted, been using it for over 10 years, if you are planting hydrangeas I would recommend going on utube and watching Garden Answer it's a great source for information

Does this kill roses? Can it be used on a hybrid rose?

I don’t think it will kill the roses. You are using this to get their roots established when you first plant them. After that, use rose-tone.

Should i use this to transfer my lemon tree to a biggger pot? And can you use this on apple seeds?

You can use it when transferring your lemon tree because this product works to promote root growth and lessens transfer shock. This should work with the seeds as well.

Would this be a good soil for transplanting spider plants?

Yes. I don't know where these other answers are coming from but it can be used for transplanting any plant inside and out. It can even be worked into the soil as a topper with great success. You can use it for seeds, transplants, and established plants. I have never had anything but success in using it in those ways. In fact I have used it for indoor spider plants myself!

I use this product in my garden every time I plant something. The plants turn out great and perform beautifully. I think my green thumb has a lot to do with this product. It's organic and I don't worry about using around my food. It does have a odor when you are adding it to the soil, but it goes away and you don't smell it afterwards. I'm used to it by now. I swear by it.
