The fan arrived a day early and took 5 minutes to assemble. It is stable and sturdy and has an impressive range of features some of which are only accessed by the remote. The remote itself is an excellent addition as it controls the range of both movement and fan speed from the pillow! It runs very quietly even on high speeds and cools the room effectively. I like the option of the eco function which works with the current room temperature to automatically adjust the fan speed. This fan is not cheap but neither is it cheaply made and delivers on every expectation of an air circulating fan. Worth the outlay.

I rarely write reviews, but I have to say that this fan recommended by artificial intelligence is really good! Reasonable design, the ∞-shaped swing mode can really make the house quickly ventilated and cool. The three modes (indoor temperature, manual wind speed, sleep mode) are very considerate! I will try to use the sleep mode tonight. I have used the first two modes and am using the indoor temperature. This can automatically adjust the size of the wind according to its own judgment of the indoor temperature. It is very comfortable and warm. The magnetic remote control is definitely the work of a design master. This is a perfect design for people who tend to put things in a mess! Thanks to the designer. Very quiet! And I think it is quiet without sacrificing performance. I am a person who is very sensitive to noise and makes me nauseous and dizzy. This completely meets all my expectations. The sound recorded in my video may be amplified details, and the actual sound is much smaller than this. I believe I can have a comfortable summer! Thanks to technological progress!

Very quiet on the lowest settings and not too loud on the higher ones. Easy to operate and a great range of movement both vertical and horizontal. Well built and very sturdy. 12 fan speed settings and a temperature controlled setting as well as a handy night setting which makes this fan a deserved winner of the Telegraphs best pedestal fan for 2025. Comes with a magnetic remote control.

Fantastic fan, easy to assemble and operate with the remote control. I like the fact that the two extension tubes, transform this fan from table-top, to mid height or full height. We have had it running all night in our bedroom on a slow speed and it was almost silent - it didn't disturb our sleep at all. A well designed product and recommended for the hot weather!

Meaco fans get a lot of hype and praise so eventually I caved and bought this, which at the time seems to be their hero product. It is pricey for a fan but I was drawn to the design and the promise of it being both powerful and very quiet. It delivers on both design and quietness but I was hoping for a bit more power. If you crank this up to max settings and have it blowing directly on you, you will stay cool and in fact I only usually have it set as high as 7 (of 12) to balance power and sound. In circulation mode, I haven't found it to be very effective at cooling a room. At least not according to it's own thermometer but it does make a nice breeze. The modularity is great, it's easy to remove the poles to adjust how tall you want it to be and I love the design of this. When all snapped in to place it feels like one piece. It's heavy enough to feel premium but light enough to carry around the house. I wouldn't be without this especially during the summer and it does seem to be very energy efficient. I can't really detect much of a difference in my power consumption when it's on all day. The beeping sound is a bit of an annoyance, you can turn it off via the remote but if you unplug it, the sound will be back. A summer essential in my opinion and I would buy one again.

This is a fabulous fan, I also bought the table top version. You cannot hear it at all, on lower levels; even at level 6 sitting about a metre away I could hardly hear it, but you can certainly feel it, even from several meters away. Apart from testing it we've never needed it above level 3 and we do have a large room. I really like that there are 3 horizontal and 3 vertical rotation ranges, as well as stationary. The remote is easy to use, the only thing I don't like is that it's the same colour as the fan so you can't see if it's there or if someone has used it and not returned it to the magnetic holder. The temp display is a nice feature and it's quiet a low light level so not intrusive at all. Putting it together was easy, and it's very solid, a good design. It came with a bag, which is probably a waste as I can't imagine ever needing it. If I need any more fans I will buy these.

Although this needs to be assembled, that's an easy task and it's impossible to fit the pedestal column parts together incorrectly .It's a good idea to take a photo of the label on the base plate before assembling because that has the serial number you'll need in order to register for the 3 year guarantee. I opted to use both sections but one could use one or none, depending on how one wants to place the fan. To get the most out of this you need to use the remote, which cunningly fits into the face of the fan housing when not in use (magnetic catch), You can alter the speed (between 1 and 12), and select between 3 horizontal and 3 vertical settings for oscillation. There are a number of other possibly useful features such as an eco setting which automatically changes fan speed to match room temperature, and a night setting which dims the lights and reduces speed in half hour increments. I was very pleased with this in the recent hot spell and can see why it was a Which best buy.

Absolutely fabulous fan. Bought following a Which? Best buy review and this Meaco fan did not disappoint. Well made piece of equipment, the remote is very simple to operate, the instructions are easy to understand and are in English (no Chinese translation here !) night mode is first class for keeping one cool during the heatwave(s) without running at full pelt all night. Very quiet and very powerful. Extremely happy with this Meaco purchase and would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic fan (pun unintended) It's everything all the other 5 star reviewers said. I wasn't expecting delivery to be so fast but less than a week and so well packaged. Absolutely foolproof assembly and really sturdy construction. The actual fan itself is everything that anyone could want it to be and to do.
