ComputerActive Back Issue CD 2015 all 26 issues : Computeractive, Daniel Booth: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: As brilliant as always - lots of Windows 10 content, too. . . - I think this is probably the most useful CD that Computeractive have released - because of all the Windows 10 content on it. Almost every issue on the CD has tips on using Windows 10 (how to upgrade, should you upgrade, how to keep it safe - etc). The CD works just like all previous ones - easy to search, easy to print. Best of all, I can now donate my 2015 magazines to my local dentist surgery - and clear out some space at home. Overall, it's a big thumbs up from me. Recommended. Review: Space Saver - As with the 2015 back issue disc this is an ideal and space saving way of saving all of the 26 copies for the year, for future reference. Fully accessible and easy to navigate, this is now my preferred way and will buy future discs as they become available. Good value.

Would not be without it
Excellent magazine, not just aimed at computing fans but widely applicable to all PC users as well as useful for those with connected gadgets, iPads, iPhones, etc. Tons of simple advice and instructions for protecting yourself and your equipment in a very easy, plain English style. Having subscribed to the print edition for most of the year, this disc now enables me to access any of the features from 2015 easily. Fully searchable, pdf format and the later editions on the disc are great for making the most out of Windows 10.

Invaluable Space Saver!
Invaluable space saver. I have every issue of this CD back to Computer Active's first appearance, 16 years ago and many Windows systems back, and they all still produce the information asked for. How I wish similar CDs were available for the monthly computer mags as well, the paper issues of which fill up half my garage and must, alas, eventually be recycled. One can't have everything....

Well worth the money
These are great. Always originally thought I didn’t want to effectively have to pay again for the magazines as I always retained a few years of them to research reviews or articles to help with issues. However I now find these CD’s brilliant and well worth buying as it makes it so much easier to search and find the information and means I can recycle all the old magazines.

Very useful. When the disc starts
Very useful. When the disc starts, it checks to see if the latest version of Adobe Reader is installed, and wont progress until it has been! HOWEVER, if you open the home.pdf file with your own pdf reader (e.g Edge in Windows 10, or even a different version of Adobe on Windows XP), then everything seems to work okay.

26 issues of Computer Active 2015 stored on just one CD.
All 26 editions, 440 - 465, of Computer Active Magazine from 2015 on one CD. System requirements for running the disc; PC: Windows NTSP6, Win 2000 SP2, Win 2003, Win XP Home, Pro or Tablet PC SP1, Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8 and 10. Mac: Power PC G3, G4, G5 or Intel Processor, Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later. You will need to install Adobe Reader 7 or later if you don't already have it. There's a direct link to Adobe 7 for Windows on the CD. Articles are in full and appear just as they did in the magazine. Scanning through the disc is simple and it's easy to print out whatever you need. We've been replacing piles of old magazines with these CDs. Much easier to search a disc for the articles we're interested in than trying to scour through piles of magazines. You'll also clear a lot of space when you throw the mags away. Recommended.
