Cressi Calibro Professional Scuba Diving Freediving Mask with Anti Fog Technology

Cressi has a few superb masks and a lot of mediocre ones. This is a superb one. I have used the same Cressi Superocchio for 25 years and it’s still perfect, but that’s cause I wash it with tap water almost after every use and never let it touch the sand, and thoroughly clean it at the end of the season. I thought the superocchio was still the best but this model is just as good and a little more comfortable. The internal design seems to really help preventing fogging which is a surprise. Excellent mask and probably a new Cressi classic, and I think I will finally retiremy Superocchio. I bought 3 pairs of these. I am convinced- I might be wrong- that clear transparent silicone is more delicate, so would buy the black or dark opaque versions.

This is a super mask. Just back from 3 weeks diving in Maldives. No fogging or leaking whatsoever! Even when using the turbo dive scooters and in fierce channel currents it stayed sealed perfectly. It's smaller than my cressi big eyes masks which for me was great as it gave me a better gap from my hair at top and sides. Easy to adjust and comfortable round my head.I got the white as blue was out of stock... But I got loads of comments on how good it looked so glad I got that one.At the price I paid (£35) I have to say it was an absolute bargain and well worth the money.

Great mask. Only problem is it's quite narrow so wouldn't suit larger heads, it's just about okay for me luckily, and I don't notice anything untoward whilst diving

The mask Is really good, I did contact a couple of dive centres regarding the mask and the skirt around the mask. The mask has a floating skirt and is meant to be like this and it's not a design fault. It is totally water tight as I have tried it today, I was going to send it back but I have no problem with it. I also have a very short beard, though it did leak a tiny bit this is not a problem, I will use Burt bees wax lip balm to seal it with under my nose.

I bought these on the strength of other online reviews. Cressi is a well known company with a good reputation. The individual lenses and anti-fog properties appealed. This mask is recommended for Spear Fishing, but my use for snorkelling and sub-surface photography was close enough.I prepared the lenses with toothpaste on receipt and used McNETT Sea Gold prior to each use; even with the advertised anti-fog feature there is no sense in not following good practice. The upshot: I snorkelled in the Med for literally hours without any fogging whatsoever.The lens are close to your eyes and the mask is a close fit - this results in a wide, largely unobstructed view. If you have a very wide face this mask maybe too small - sadly this is something you will only discover when you try it.I cannot find any fault with this mask and I cannot wait to get back in the sea to use it again. An added bonus worthy of mention is this mask arrived in its own click shut hard case; whilst probably not robust enough for longterm professional use it is all you need for packing in luggage or lugging to the beach in a 'dive' bag.

Love this dive mask! It stayed perfectly sealed with no leaks and didn’t fog up once, even during long dives. The sturdy build feels reliable, and it’s so easy to pack and carry around. Definitely my go-to for every dive now!

Great mask, super clear lenses and comfortable.Does it fog? Oh yes like every single one of them so if someone says it does not fog then I'm 100% sure they lie. I have never had mask that does not fog but I use Cressi antifog spray and that just works - simple 5 quid solution if you are on the go or boat. Spray and wash it works great.I have used it for diving and snorkeling - it just works and not leaking so not much more to say about it.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I chose this product for the Fog Stop feature. This is a gimmick that does not work at all. They fogged up more than other masks in the past to the point when I had to put fog drops in them that work slightly better. You can see nicely out of them and they have very good vision when they're not fogged up. I Also found them quite flimsy around the lenses as others have pointed out. The other issue I found was the space below the nose to the bottom of the mask is very small and if not placed correctly water can get on easily. Very disappointing. I would have returned them but by the time I got to use them I'd gone past the return date.

Practical, compact, fair face sealing, comfortable, it reduces fog but doesn't eliminate/kill it completely, magnification ratio is lower than normal scuba diving masks which is good for spearfishing, and quick reactions built on the eye perception.

excellent. i love this mask. i am just a recreational snorkeler and it is the best. never fogs and very comfortable. i am very happy with this purchase.
