Finally I found a good dry iron. I tried GM iron 4 times along with replacement and other model but wasn't satisfactory. All of them has thermostat control issue. I tried Richo but that had huge heat looss. You will start sweeting because of heat radiation from the iron box. So returned it. Finally took this and it's found to be ok. Heat radiation is very less. And the temperature control was working fine. It has a bit of stability issue that at its seeting if the surface is not flat it can fall. But overall the product is worth giving a 5 star.

We have not used much this Iron still product got stopped heating just after the 2 years warranty expires and the repairing cost is 75% of the actual Iron price. Please do not buy havells product as this is second time having issue with this brand. Please go with bajaj always as it is cheaper, good quality plus can be repaired at low cost as well.

The iron is quite heavy and may not be suitable for people with weak hands or those who prefer a lightweight appliance. Due to its weight, extra care is needed when placing it upright on its stand. The base area that supports the iron feels relatively small compared to its weight, which can make it seem less stable when standing.

Product is very nice but the main problem with it is the bottom of the iron is way too small. Everytime you make it stand it tends to topple over as it's a relatively very heavy iron box. Havells guy's should have done their R&D before launching the product. Other than that no issues.
