If you made it this far, go ahead and purchase him. This was my first purchase from Chingbor & im already saving tabs and building carts for their other figures. As a Gundam-builder, I am usually not interested in bootlegs or 3rd party assets. This none however taught me a lesson. Some lab in China wants YOU to have the toys from your childhood more than Hasbro does. Its not like the original artists make any residuals from toy sales. Because this thing is outstanding. Literally! He's out of his box and standing tall amongst my gundams and marvel figures. Soon to grow into a legion. The decepticons from the Michael Bay movies make for great villain display presence. Which is what I was getting him for. About the figure. It is everything as pictured! He is tall but lightweight! They used phillips-screws for many of his joints. Which is why I think most people are breaking him other than the few pieces that arent pinned in place. More on that below. Frankly its just AWESOME! When you first open him, move the joints to free up the pressure. Dont move an arm by the hand, with no pressure on the shoulder, break the arm, and come here to complain. Learn to have softer hands and lighter manipulation. After you have freed him up, loosen the Phillips head screws before you transform him. That will help lots. There are 4 components that should have pins to hold the hinges in place, but do not. One of which is the side-claw of the gun. You can still pose it and move the pieces just fine. They just come out of their slot when rotated too far. You could fix this yourself with mini telescopic pins often found in others toys. You can buy them on here if need be. Its a minor issue. Honestly by the pictures and reviews, I imagined that the legs would be finicky or fragile. They absolutely were not. He stands strong and sturdy. Here's the important part, this figure is a replica of the Series 13 Voyager class Megatron from the second movie. You WILL NOT find it for less than 80 bucks. Even then, the quality difference is huge. While the hasbro variant has different materials and few differences mainly in the back and legs, the actual hasbro asset looks like its made of abs plastic. It just looks like a toy. Whereas this variant is like an art-piece. The price is impossible to beat for the quality you recieve. The package, box, and figure itself was perfect condition. The manual for the transformation was in color and in English. They also included a small LED ball for the blaster effects! It's brighter than most gundam LEDs I have bought. I was actually surprised how well it works. Its a pull-tab activation and doesn't have switches or buttons. SO KEEP THE PULL-TAB! I would even recommend keeping it to use with something else. I'll be hunting those things now. The figure was age-appropriate for atleast anyone over the age of 10. For all the parents out there, that know how to use tactical-glue if it comes down to it, will be very happy getting one of these for your kids! I would be so stoked to have this as a kid. I wouldnt have cared that its a bootleg. I sure dont care. The seller and manufacturer definitely have the "in-your-face" replica of Megatron, but there's no language period suggesting its trying to masquerade as an official product. For all those who care about such things for collecting. There was no assembly needed. It comes with two blaster-blue effects, the damaged head unit, and an extra arm to replace the cannon-hand. The movement for this kit is closer to a Marvel Titan figure than it is a Gundam for example. But again, its Megatron. Why need him to pose like the ginyu force? LOL. Just BUY IT! You dont have to be gentle with him, but dont manhandle it like you do a toolbox. Happy hunting friends & as always, STAY CRAFTY!

The item is great its just hard to transform, this 40 dollar megatron is worth at least 80 dollars, and its a great size for a megatron i would get it. Also im 12 so this review wont be the best. it looks way better than the trash studio series from hasbro

I have to say, I like Revenge of the Fallen Megatron look. This is TF Dream Factory (TFDF) version of the Studio Series (SS) Megatron, with the DNA Upgrade Kit preinstalled. This is 5 star worthy but QC issues lost 1 star. Here's the breakdown. Molding, Paint, Sculpt 5 Stars The Molding of this figure is the same as the Studio Series Megatron, and it is great. As you can see in the pictures. The Studio Series is on the left and TFDF is on the right. This one has some great Paint apps. some are brighter then the SS. Accessories 4 Stars The Accessories that come with this Megatron are awesome. You get a damaged head, full right arm to swap out the fusion cannon arm. a blast effects in 3 parts. Swapping the fusion cannon arm is a bit tricky, you have to pop the mushroom peg out of the shoulder. This is VERY Tight. and run the risk of snapping the peg. It is the reason I did not show it off on the figure. The blast effect is great. It has a LED with batteries already installed. the down side is, there's no On/Off switch. It's just a pull tab. the led fits in the back part of the blast effects with the led light facing in. it looks awesome, but there's no way to turn it off. The damaged head looks better then the SS in my opinion, the only down side is there's really no Paint on it to bring out the awesome detail. Articulation 4 Stars The Articulation on this Megatron is great, it's the same you get from the SS. The head is on a ball joint so it gets good range, but the post it is on is at an angle so the rotation makes his head cock to one side. The shoulders are on rotation joints so they rotate 360 degrees. the arms lift up to 90 degrees and have a single elbow. There's no waist swivel due to how it converts to alt mode. The legs get great range they rotate and lift out. the knees are a bit weird, but get good range. the only articulation you get in the foot is an ankle rocker, BUT you can use the second 'knee' as a foot tilt up and down. The reason articulation is 4 Stars, is because the left shoulder was super loose and needed to be tightened, the rear wings are loose, no matter how many times I tighten the screws they get loose. Conversion To Alt Mode 4 Stars The conversion to tank mode is the same as the SS but with a few more steps. The rear wings fold out and need to be angled as you rotate the arms into the body. The normal right arm NEEDS to be on so the wings sit flush and tabs tab correctly. as seen in picture the wings don't sit flush with the fusion cannon arm on. There are tight joints in the legs. the second knee needs to slide in so they reach the tabs. BUT these sliders are way stiff (on my copy). the front wings that are attached to the inner foot need to be opened so the small tab on the inside has room to move, or you may risk breaking the tab. Upgrade Kit 5 Stars This has the Upgrade kit for SS Megatron already installed. the upgrade kit are the rear wings for tank mode, these serve as gap fillers for robot mode. Front wings for tank mode. this adds more stability in the feet for robot mode. A full right arm, if you don't want him with a fusion cannon. The battle damaged head, and the Blast effect. Newly added is the LED light for the blast effect. This TFDF Megatron is 5 star worthy, but a few QC problems brought the rating down. It is worth the purchase, this look for Megatron is awesome, and the updates on the SS mold are fantastic.

My son added this to my cart, so I didn't really take a good look at it. I didn't realize it wasn't an actual transformer (it's a knock off brand). He loves it, but it has already broken in one spot and he was not being rough whatsoever.

Figure quality is amazing compared to the Hasbro version. Articulation and detail are spot on. His size is exactly to SS bayverse but a tad bit taller. Value for money is worth getting. Ease of transformation and assembly is 100%!

Its cool

I got this for my little sister, and she loved it. It does transform and it comes with Megatrons blast thingy that you can change. It also stands up perfectly, just have to have his feet seated properly. And it’s a cool, fun collectible for anyone who likes Transformers!
