Lighter Gasket Seal Compatible with Zippo, Metal Repair Kit

Not sure why Zippo hasn;t started incorporating this feature into their lighters straight from the factory! Great insert! The fit, finish and quality are awesome. Very simple, easy installation in seconds. No issues at all. Pack included spare gaskets, as well. Shipping was super quick as well. I’m hoping this will help my lighter fluid last a bit longer. It already makes filling the lighter easier and less messy with the small trap door on the bottom. Awesome little addition to make a fantastic lighter even better!!

Definitely helps keep the lighter from leaking and makes it more reliable by keeping fluid from leaking and evaporating. Nice to have a the rubber gasket to keep fluid from leaking, plus the solid metal of it adds weight to the lighter and makes it feel more solid. Definitely a great upgrade that keeps the fuel level from dropping as quickly yet doesn't make it any harder to refill. Amd it having the compartment for a spare flint is nice. Only downside is that you have to be careful not to lose the little o-ring when changing the flint. Definitely a great upgrade for the classic wind proof zippo design.

I purchased the YUSUD Lighter Gasket Seal for my Zippo, and it has been an absolute game-changer. Really does slow evaporation. Every Zippo deserves one of these. Messes with the manufacturer's business model of selling overpriced VM&P naptha to you in a 4 oz bottle that leaks away from the lighter like grass thru a goose.

Zippo lasts much longer without drying out. Holder for extra flint is nice!

Doesn’t fit, doesn’t seal. The whole purpose of this is to seal the bottom of the lighter. How will it do this when the rubber gasket has a 1/16” gap on each side and the whole corner rides up? Don’t waste your money. It looks like a nice piece, but what you goer is ill fitting, poorly manufactured, and barely worth 1/10 of the price.

Looks nice. However, the spring housing and this cover take up cotton/fuel space. Also, the flint screw protrudes from the base, meaning that if you install it, the entire canister sits higher in the shell, ever so slightly, but noticeably. For real fuel saving, make sure your wick is trimmed down.

This thing is amazing. It changed my zippo from having to be filled up every couple days to every two weeks once every two weeks that’s it you can store an extra flute in it and get it coloured to match. If you go to amazon.com you can get in gold blue on the Canadian site you can get it in black and silver doesn’t really matter. It’s on the bottom but if you’re like me and you like to match stuff then it’s kind of a pee off. After I filmed that video I found the third O-ring that came with it so I didn’t imagine it.

I don't smoke so my lighter doesn't get used very much. I was forever fuelling it every time I wanted to use it. Now fuel sticks around much longer. It's well worth the price for me.
