I'm trying to cool a 13900k and as anyone will tell you, it takes a really really good cooling setup. The fans have a nice noise profile but I ran into some issues when hitting the system hard for hours at a time. I'm using this for production work, not gaming so it's important to have a stable system. I actually ignored the release of these new TL fans as I had only seen the version with the screen which I thought was kind of dumb but then I watched a review of the non-LCD version and saw how much air they can push. The SL120 V2's push 64.5 CFM and a static pressure of 2.59 mmH2O at a max RPM of 2,000. These new TL120's have an airflow rating of 90.1 CFM and a static pressure of 3.97 mmH20 at 2,600 RPM and you can really feel the difference. I have the radiator at the top of my case and I like to put my hand on top of the exhaust to feel how hot things are getting. I can feel so much more air flowing during extremely heavy rendering with these new fans and now the hottest P-cores top out at 96c with no more thermal throttling. I was even able to bring up my power limit to 325 watts with a noticeable increase to my Cinebench scores. (2146 in R24) If I was building a new rendering machine I would love to have filled it with all of these fans but it's not worth swapping the rest of the fans in the case. Noise level has definitely increased but I always have noise cancelling headphones anyway. Review: Fans look great besides getting a open package. - Would have been 5 stars but one of the fan sets was a open package that had scotch tape sealing one fan's bubble wrap. The contact covers were removed from one fan with another of the fans having 2 contact covers. All the plastic guards were removed on the infinity mirrors. Also 2 of the bags of screws had been opened. Fans at least did not appear to be used or if they had it wasn't very long.
