Perfect price. Perfect performance. Perect size. Perfect quality.I used this to make mead. I just decanted to a pitcher when I needed to, cleaned the bottle and poured it right back in. The plastic lid has a nice gasket in it, but I don't know if it leaks. I'm too chicken to try. For this price, I'm just going to serve it out of the jug. It's much cheaper than buying a bunch of bottles and it's small enough to make pouring easy. Love this! Perfect for first time brewers and small batches. Easy to clean, looks great and very well made. Stable.

I needed a gallon jar to mix my plant food in and this was perfect! the glass is thick and is really good quality. I'm sure this will last forever!! It also came with different rubber stoppers and a plastic lid! Worth it!

I’ve ordered several different kits, and carboys. This one is the best value. It’s been the best quality I’ve seen, and priced low for all that you get. I only buy these made In Italy 2 piece airlocks from now on. Less moving parts to lose, and saving some shelf space. I’m not sure if they put whatever carboys they have on the shelf in your order, but the one I got with my order was the thickest glass I’ve seen, and didn’t have any questionable air bubbles in the glass like I’ve seen often from others. Not to mention, North Mountain packages their stuff more properly. Every order I’ve made with them has showed up intact. Every other company I’ve ordered from has showed up broken because they expect a thick paper divider to keep them safe from savage Amazon delivery employees. Spite having, “Fragile, handle with care, GLASS”, plastered all over the box.

Just getting into making my own wine and cider and needed more fermenting equipment. This jug was perfect for my needs. Easy to clean, well-made, and a great value!

Jug is great and came very well packaged. The airlock is a little iffy, you have to be careful with the fill line with how the top works. There's other versions I like better, but overall I very nice set.

I've got my peach wine fermenting in this right now! So far it's working well with no mold growth. No problem with the stopper popping out everything works as intended. I hope it tastes good! But if it doesn't, that's on me!

This was a great starter kit for mead (or wine, etc)! Everything you need in the kit. And fantastic price. Arrives very quick too! No having to order from several places. Lid as well for the carboy.

Good choice to use for just a small Brew and for beginners can definitely wouldn't purchase again
