It took a day and a half to put together but it was actually fast n easy love Griffins n it came out bigger and better than I thought it would it was fun to build too n all the pieces were there Lego came out with a tool it’s orange I didn’t know this I thought it was a part of the assembly but it wasn’t once I figured out what it was for omg thank god I had this because if you misplace a Lego you can use this tool with ease to remove the misplaced Lego great price quality amazing Lego hasn’t failed me I believe starting age 10 years old with some help n guidance would be a great age to put this one Lego set together

Bill Hannah on after I got it it was pretty simple. It did mess up one of the wings but that was a mirror not a build air. It’s a pretty good size not too big not too small. Looks really cute on my bookshelf.

My boyfriend is a Harry Potter fanatic through and through, so I got him this Buckbeak set for Christmas. It is simply adorable. Anything you think can/should move, moves. The head is on a ball joint, so you can turn it any way. The mouth opens and the head feathers can flare in or out. The legs can bend at all anatomical joins, and the claws can be spread as desired. The wings come up and down, rotate, and fold in. The tail also moves up and down. Extremely posable model and the best office desk buddy! Assembly took maybe 2 hours give or take, he worked on it bit by bit over a few days so it’s hard to say exactly. But it didn’t take long at all. No missing pieces, we did have a few extra pieces though. The size of Buckbeak alone feels like this is bang for buck as far as LEGO products go. Plus, look at that face! He is so stinking cute! *Important to note we DID get the other section with Hagrid’s garden, I just forgot to get a picture!

This set is awesome! The only drawback is that it’s retired, and my package was delivered in rough shape—the LEGO box was split open and dented quite badly. Fortunately, Amazon customer service made it right by offering a refund.

The package was packed ok. The box that the product came in was damaged. But overall all the pieces were there and since it's a retired Lego I'm just lucky I got it at all.

Yet another harry potter gift for the wife. It was a pretty good value when I got it on sale and definitely made for a great gift. The design of all the harry potter lego sets are well thought out and help to bring the quirky creatures of the harry potter universe home. Really small set, so assembly was very quick n easy. The kids also really like this set because they're able to fly it around and play, pretend with some of the other harry potter creatures. Great set!
