Worked better than expected. Welded wheel bracket on Husquavarna mower deck. Used old eighth in. Rod i had and not ideal conditions. Welded great turned up to 180 . Welded great. Made sure i paid attention to duty cycle .gave plenty of machine cooling time. Absolutely great

If you have any experience in welding you know this has the potential to be disastrous and a waste of money. I found that this thing actually works fairly well. I was looking for something that could be mobile. Not crazy about the 110v only, but at this price point and size you really can't ask for dual voltage. It's SMALL. I mean, really small. Cables are good, about what you would expect on a larger stick welder. Chucked up a 6011 and went to town on some 3/16 mild steel. You aren't going to penetrate that, but I figured if I could see heat marks on the other side, I would at least feel comfortable fixing fences with it. Actually performed pretty well. You aren't building a chassis or putting a boom back on a crane with this thing, but if you're looking for something that will stick fence pipes together-- this works. I was able to run it off the 20A 110v plug on my generator, so this fits the bill for my purposes. Throw the generator and this welder in the bucket of my tractor, and it's a pipeliner. Albeit a very weak and small pipeliner, it will get the job done.

Something like this, you always have to wonder if it will just spark inside and do nothing. In this case, it does in fact weld. It's not great; it's a small low power welder. But with reasonable expectations for what it can do, this would probably work well for you. The instructions are not great. But simple welders are easy to operate so you don't need much detail. They seem to be poorly translated, and I don't think they told much in the first place.

I was surprised at how well this little welder worked.....there's not a lot of options for fine tuning, but for a quick weld it works perfectly and it's light and easy to transport, keep in your truck. For the money this is a great backup welder to have around.

I was surprised at how light the welder is, and only about the size of a lunchbox. I used it with some 2011 3/32 rod and it works well. A great light duty 110v welder. The cords are heavy duty, better than expected. The only thing I found strange was the digital readout. It would go from 20 to 200 like it supposed to, but a few stops in-between the readouts it would show 666. But just keep turning the dial and everything was back on track and working well. Maybe just the welder I got, but overall it works great for a fast light duty portable welder. Well worth the price.

Calling what I am capable of doing with a welding machine is an insult to the trade of welding. However, I was able to weld hex bolts to my trailer with ease using this product. The bolts were 1/2" galvanized, and they were welded to the trailers wheel well. It is a good starter unit, or for someone like me who will rarely need a welding machine.

It is definitely a 110 volt AC welder. What it can weld remains to be seen. It does have a digital display. They call it powerful. Well, maybe. The product description lists a number of rods that is compatible with. The display can give a readout on a number of welding factors. That sounds very good, but when I pick it up, there isn't a lot TO pick up. It is a VERY portable welding machine. I will be finding out how good of a welder it is in a few weeks when I put it to the test.
