Review: Will buy more - When I first got this my green cheek conure was terrified of it. I didn’t put it in his cage right away because I wanted to show him how it worked, and he was terrified. After a couple of weeks I ended up just putting it in the top corner of his cage and by the next day he was starting to be a little more brave and mess with it. By the second day he had mastered all the different doors and LOVES this thing. He’s always standing on it like a indoor deck. I’ve even seen him sleep on it. He has chewed and shredded this thing like crazy and ripped out the two sliding doors. But he still sits on there and will open the latch all the time and wait for me to put treats in there. This was a great buy and I will be purchasing again. The only issue I had was the screws were not in the wood well and when I tighten the bolt on it would never tighten and just unscrewed the screw from the wood. But that was an easy fix and we just glued the screws into the wood and now it’s sturdy.

When I first got this my green cheek conure was terrified of it. I didn’t put it in his cage right away because I wanted to show him how it worked, and he was terrified. It’s an effective foraging toy! My bird loved it while it lasted. It is no fault of the mfg, I feel it held up very well for about a week. May be better for small birds but my African Grey loved foraging and then completely dismantling it.
