Fantastic curry spice blend.
This is a gorgeous little tin of spices. You can see the different spices and seeds within the mix. It is a very good quality product. The label on the tin suggests that there are recipes on the Zouk website, however, I couldn't find any, so I just used 2 teaspoons in my usual Biryani recipe. It has a nice taste, not too spicy, although I think that next time I would use 3 teaspoons though.I was pleased to see that Amazon sell a refill for this spice blend. This makes it excellent value for money and saves on waste. The tin is very pretty, attractive and easy to use. It keeps the spice mix nice and fresh. I really like this product and would be interested in trying more products from Zouk.

Rich flavour
I love tandoori. It one second favourite spice mix in the Asian cuisine. This one in particular, it set it apart of the one I normally buy. Firstly it isn’t as spicy. While I have no issues with spice, my family prefer it. Secondly, it is as smooth. Which we actually prefer. You can almost bite into the flavour. Taste wise, it is great. The tin it comes in is absolutely the best. Shows how much they value their spices. Unfortunately, the tin is small. We used the whole tin on marinating chicken and then air frying them.

My new, absolute favourite
Item: Zouk Tandoori Masala Spice PotMy new favourite spice blend. The great little tin this spice blend arrives in has a double sealed lid to keep the spices fresh and dry, and to keep the smell contained, so although I was wary of the £6 cost for the spice blend with the tin, I think it’s worth the extra cost to buy the tin initially and get the cheaper refills going forward. The spice blend itself is fantastic. I usually make my own spice blends and mixes as I’ve always been disappointed in the big brand & supermarket brand spice mixes, but this stuff is a world apart. It smells like a really good Indian restaurant, and genuinely tastes like it too. I’ve used it mixed with yoghurt as a marinade, and as a dry rub, and it’s phenomenal - from the colour to the flavour to the smell, I honestly can’t sing high enough praises and will be adding more of this brand to my cupboards from now on.

Smells and tastes delicious
This Garam massala arrived in a beautifully detailed tin, with an outer and inner lid. The moment I removed the inner lid the most delicious aroma was released. The powder is dry and easy to use, and adds a flavour to dishes that is unsurprisingly not unlike the smell. It is a relatively small tin (60g), which may make you want to ration it a bit, but as you can buy refills which are very good value, I've just been enjoying it.Overall it is by far the nicest tasting and smelling Garam massala I've tried, I will be purchasing the refills when we need more, and I will definitely be sampling the other products in their range.

Incredibly fragrant and really adds depth of flavour
This garam masala spice pot is incredible. It contains a really large amount of perfectly balanced spice. It is so fragrant it emits its scent through the tin. It carries a really strong deep aroma that you would expect from garam masala and really adds intensely deep flavours to whatever dish you put it in. I love it rubbed onto grilled chicken breast.I would happily recommend this product.

Zouk Biryani Masala Spice Pot
A fab spice mix in a delightful little tin!It contains Coriander, Cumin, Salt, Fennel, Chilli, Mango, Fenugreek, Mustard, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Garlic, Red Bell pepper, Citric Acid, Cinnamon, Cloves, Ginger, Star Aniseed, Bay Leaves, Sunflower Oil, Nutmeg, and Cardamom. It's perfect for biryani and other curry dishes. It doesn't come with any recipe ideas, nor could I find anything specifically aimed at using this spice mix on the Zouk website, so I have just been using 2 tablespoons of the spice mix and frying it off for a couple of minutes before adding some onion and the rice and cooking it that way.It makes a good Biryani.Recommended and now I'm off to look at the other spice mixes.

Zouk Biryani Masala Spice Pot.
I recently tried the Zouk Biryani Masala Spice Pot, hoping to recreate a traditional biryani with authentic Indian spices. However, I found the spice blend to be way too spicy for my taste, overwhelming the other flavours of the dish.It didn’t match the traditional taste I'm accustomed to, based on what we usually eat. While the 60G pot is a convenient size and the spices seemed fresh, the heat level overshadowed the expected nuanced flavours of a good biryani masala. If you're looking for a more balanced and traditional blend, this might not be the best choice.
