However, the 6'3" version for our Irish cob needed major adjustment around the shoulders and we put elastic in the neck fastenings so it was more comfortable when she was grazing. The rest of the body of the rug was plenty big enough so a bigger size would not have helped. I think most rug designers use a plastic model thoroughbred with its head up to work out their sizes and forget that the majority of horses are chunkier and spend most of their time out in the field with their heads down !! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super purple winter rug *by K***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 August 2017* Bought in purple for my daughters horse and she loves it. She really loves the neck fastening which clips and then is covered up. Loves the colour and looks really smart on. Thinks it will keep her horse nice and warm in winter but obviously haven't experienced that yet.
