I have a small senior dog that is 12 pounds, and at the time we tested these chews, I was fostering a large pitt, and a medium terrier mix. All three dogs loved these chews, right from the beginning. However, first off, it is very important to note that owners need to always supervise their dogs when they are enjoying these chews. I say that because I have given my dogs many many different types of treats and chews, but these particular chews are super hard and tough to chew up. They are pure turkey tendons, and a smaller dog likely would not be able to eat them at all. My small dog did get to enjoy them, but only once I cut the tendons into very small, manageable pieces. Even then, I had to watch him closely because these are easy for them to choke on, regardless of size.The large pitt loved them as well, and he was able to enjoy them whole. That being said, I stayed with him while he ate them, because when he first tried them, especially, he attempted to chew them as he would other chews, and then swallow. When he did that, he started to choke on it, but was able to bring it back out of his throat. If I'm being honest here, these chews really scared me at first, and I very nearly tossed them that first day. The medium sized terrier mix was a bit more cautious with hers, and though she had to chew on those tendons for what seemed like forever, she did exactly that, and had no problems swallowing, thank God. The pitt was more stubborn though. So despite nearly choking with the first piece, he continued to try to swallow them too soon. I guess after he had to gag and try again about 15 times, he finally decided to chew the heck out of them before trying again lol.My small dog did well with the small cut up pieces and did not have any choking scares. Just be aware that these chews are not like most. Dogs love them, every dog I ended up offering one of these to, loved them. Therefore I do recommend them, but only as long as you know how tough they are, so you know to watch your babies closely while eating them!

You would think a rescue dog would love any treats, but ours has become very picky about every treat. She loves these, bounces up and down when she sees it……for a boxer/bulldog mix….its fun to see her excited for them

I wish they weren't so expensive. My 6 pound Yorkie would chew your leg off to get to one of these!!

I ordered the rings, but I always get the bone and my dog doesn’t like to chew on the bone, but he likes the rings. I probably won’t order them again but the ring.

My 3 pups LOVE these! They don’t last long for my 2 larger dogs but they keep my cocker spaniel busy for a while!! Need to sell them in bulk sizes!!!
