CorrosionX Heavy Duty is for super long-term protection against serious rust and corrosion assault. For those really tough jobs where you need the ultimate protection against moisture, the answer is new CorrosionX Heavy Duty. There is no other product like it on the market today. It is a high performance, thick-film version of CorrosionX. It was developed specifically to provide maximum protection against moisture intrusion and resulting rust and corrosion. Review: Not sure this thing is superior to Cosmoline - For one thing, for the price of a gallon, you could buy several cases of Cosmoline. The Cosmoline is easier to apply as you can spray it on. Then it dries to a semi-tacky coating where you can handle the part reasonably well. With this stuff, handling the part is a mess, as it's coated with a gooey grease. When I first opened the jug, this CorrosionX HD looks like a liquified Cosmoline: dark molasses brown liquid. Very viscous so you need to brush it on. You could possibly spray it on by either diluting it with solvent or using an undercoating gun. But via the latter method, imagine how long a gallon of this stuff would last - kiss away all those dollar bills. You also have to wonder how good the original CorrosionX is, when you have all these heavier duty versions coming out, e.g., HD, XD, Aviation grade, Max Wax (which is probably their version of Cosmoline). Review: Great to keep the rust off - I have three trucks and a jeep and four trailers. I spray this underneath my vehicles every year before winter I live in Idaho, where the stuff that they put on the snow and ice to melted rust the vehicle this stuff eliminates the problem.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT AND WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Not only is this product not anything like the description and was impossible to get off since it doesn't dry. the seller has horrible customer service and basically robbed me of my return. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Corrosion X is an excellent product and this is the HD version
Thick so can't be sprayed but works very well to spread on with a small brush or cloth. It covers better than the spray and sticks very well when applied.
