Definitely creates that small light ring in your eyes that is so desired today. I have to kind of clip it onto the corner of my phone because otherwise it is in the way of my front camera (Samsung S6 active). It's pretty easy to operate and I haven't had to change the battery yet. I will say though that it is kind of brittle-feeling. I bought a little case and hot-glued some foam inside to keep it safe in my purse, and that seems to work well. It's so fragile-looking tht I just don't trust it on it's own in the black abyss that is my purse lol.
