Keep in mind I have not used it in an action setting, but I bought this in order to hold 52 mm diopters for better close focus. The filters screw on perfectly and securely. The mount slides on the ace pro with a small bit of clearance and then you tighten the set screw and it's on snug with ease. Your milage may very on durability, but I imagine it's much more durable than the 3D printed option being so metal with set screw and screw on filter holders. I wanted to write this review to let you know it fits and works great.

I was not sure what to expect for how well the filter ring would fit but there is just a small screw (which no backing or padding) that is meant to hold it to the camera body, but without much recess around the square outside of the lens housing, it does not hold very well unless you do it up quite tightly, which will dig into the housing slightly. I think the design would have been better with some spring-loading and softer material inside the mounting square to allow it to fit more snugly to the camera without any chance for damage. Otherwise the ring itself is fairly solid, the included filter is clearly cheap quality, it does the job of protecting the lens but does cause glare artifacts in bright light. However the main point is the lens cap since otherwise there is no stock way to protect the camera lens when not in use - a huge oversight by Insta360 in my opinion. So that along makes it very worth the purchase.

I was surprised at how easy this Lens Filter Kit is to use. The fit and quality is impeccable and I have tried other filter solutions. For me, this is the best solution.

its a good little filter kit. There are dozens of filter kits that come with all manner of things. For a fraction of the price, you get this basic kit. Sounds overly simple, but it still means its effective for what a beginner may need.

The fit and function of this is really great if fits on perfectly but the only issue I have with it is the fact that you have to have that key to tighten it up I wish it was one of those that just squeezed on to this the insta360 instead of having that key cuz once you lose it it's over

Arrived without the hex wrench required to mount it, and with no indication of what size wrench to use. I have contacted Puluz customer service to find out what size hex wrench to get, and will update my review if they respond.

I do a lot of adventure filming for my job. I've had camera lenses broken by impacts before. I got this as a means of protecting my lens and not really thinking about the "filter" function. Overall, I'm very happy. I used this filter on a long backpacking trip where my camera caught a few golf ball sized hail and the filter protected the lens just as I hoped it would.
