Whoever wrote the product description must not understand that "genuine leather" is considered the cheapest, lowest quality leather in the industry. Having bought 2 pairs of Project Cloud sandals, they are made with much higher quality Full Grain or Top Grain leather, identical to the most expensive leather Birkenstocks, which I also own - pictured next to my Project Cloud sandals. They need to update the description because "genuine leather" is a major downgrade from top or full grain, which it actually is. Great sandals! Durability may be questionable, but wow - comfortable and amazing service - A pair of these broke pretty quickly, the metal clasp broke off after wearing them for a few days. But, when I processed the return, the new pair was delivered the very next day! They're very comfortable! Basically a 2 minute break-in, and they're super comfy after that. Assuming they hold up to a few more months of wear, I'd by another pair for sure. Besides that, excellent shoes for the money, exceptional value!

So these are nice. Very cushiony and fit well, maybe just slightly big (for me) for the size i got. Definitely not as high quality as my well worn pair of “B” branded these are meant to replace. Let’s hope they last.

I picked these up in October 2025 and was immediately impressed. The fit was spot-on, a little breaking-in period, and the comfort level made them my go-to for everything from casual errands to longer days on my feet. The look is clean and easygoing, and I appreciated how quickly I could slip them on and off. That's where the good news ends. Unfortunately, by spring, less than a year of normal everyday use, the metal rivet holding the front strap snapped clean off. No warning, no fraying first, and now, they are unwearable. It's genuinely disappointing because everything else about them checked the boxes. The up-front savings are great compared to Birkenstocks, but unfortunately, the durability is a huge concern. If I have to replace these every year, the savings math stops making sense pretty quickly.

Do not buy tried I believe 3 pair broke immediately all of them giving 5 stars cause company is amazing about making it right

I really love these sandals. They are a much better deal than the Birkenstocks. They may last a little bit less time than the Birk’s but they cost a third as much. How long they last is not a big difference either. It is pretty much the same. It is true that the leather is more stiff when you first get them but that is not a big deal and they break in quickly. Also, one thing I don’t see any other reviews say that I have noticed is that the base of these is more of a U shape, while the Birkenstocks are more of a V shape. I find that this design feels more comfortable and doesn’t rub my heels as the others do. I have no plans on ever switching back to the Birkenstocks.

Ok, just bought and got my 3rd pair..all distressed leather. Excellent shoes, as past Berkie guy I'm telling you that these are better. Real leather, not bonded or pleather...full grain type leather...the footbeds are great, the soles are non slip too. I wear a size 8 men's and they fit perfectly. So glad that Amazon was smart enough to carry them..they arrived in one day...all three pair, in separate orders and correctly packed and perfect...thanks Project Cloud !!! Designed by an Asian American over here and produced in China with great quality control.

The size is a little bit smaller, actually One number less. The product looks good and the leather is beautiful but we should ask for a bigger size, if you are a 10 you may want to get an 11.

I have worn Birki’s for about 50 years and have gone through many pairs. These sandals are just as comfortable and well made at about half the price. I would purchase them again.
