I have worn loads of different gloves in just about all conditions. These are definitely on a par with the best gloves I have worn as far as quality and comfort are concerned (probably the blue and white leather Salomons in the mid 80's - remember them?), but I honestly don't think that they are the warmest gloves out there. I have only worn these for a week in France, and the weather was dry and no colder than -5C at worst, and while my hands weren't uncomfortably cold in these, I was glad it wasn't any colder. I intend to try a thin pair of liner gloves for my next trip as I really found these very comfortable, but at this price I expected just a bit more insulation.They are obviously a lovely bit of kit, but just don't get too caught up in the hype........ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic and super warm *by S***S on 6 September 2018* These are a second pair of Hestra ski gloves, these were for my husband. And they are brilliant. Warm, adaptable and they look great. I will never buy any other glove in the future its Hestra all the way for us. They are pricey but my goodness they are worth every penny.
