Coming from IT, so I understood a wide variety of things needed to set this camera up. That said, I’m consistently impressed with the quality and functionality of this SV3C 4K PTZ camera. This is my second purchase from the brand, and I have to say, they’ve truly outdone themselves with this model.The 16x optical zoom combined with the 16x digital zoom provides incredibly sharp and detailed footage, even at significant distances. I tested it in a rural setting where the camera had to capture wildlife approximately 100 yards away, and I could clearly distinguish smaller animals like groundhogs and even birds-this level of detail is usually reserved for much higher-end equipment. The auto-zoom and auto-focus functions are top-notch, making tracking objects a breeze without having to manually adjust anything.Setting up the camera was straightforward. I connected it to my network with Wi-Fi and controlled it via BlueIris. The app is intuitive and easy to use, allowing full control over the camera’s settings and features. The ONVIF support means it’s compatible with a wide range of third-party surveillance software too, which is a huge plus for anyone managing multiple cameras or systems.One of the standout features for me is the humanoid detection and auto-tracking. The camera does an excellent job of recognizing and following a person, and it automatically zooms in to capture detailed footage. I tested this out on a vehicle driving down the road, and the license plate was readable from a distance of over 75 yards. This is the kind of clarity that would be invaluable for security purposes.I also love the robust construction of this camera. It’s solidly built with a cast metal frame and feels very durable. This camera is definitely not the standard SV3C security camera. It leans more toward commercial grade quality. The tracking on this camera is an added bonus for security. Although I wish that instead of me disabling the tracking, that the software had a way to tell the camera, ignore the fence post. It was continually zooming into the fence post(the trying to video mask, didn't resolve the issue). That being said, and I hope it gets corrected in a software update, I do love the clarity of this camera, as well the zoom, pan and tilt options. This made a great addition to my home security system, which has numerous SV3C cameras in it. I had done a video review, but it never posted. Hopefully it will someday. I just wanted to share that this was easy set up, and great operation. The most difficult thing was deciding where to put it.

So, I just Got this new cam, SV3C 4K 36X Zoom, 10X Optical Zoom PTZ Camera Outdoor, 8MP Dual Band Wi-Fi Security IP Cameras with Floodlight Color Night Vision, Humanoid Vehicle Detection, Auto Tracking,2-way Audio, ONVIF, RTSP, Cloud & SD Card Storage a couple of days ago. First let me say this is the fourth SV3C outdoor cam I have purchased and have been very pleased with the quality and reliability, study construction and features of their products. I have other brands but for my money SV3C is one of the best out there.This my second try at posting my review due to the clarity of the videos I uploaded! Street addresses and license plates are unintentionally captured and readable and my videos were rejected for that reason. So, I have included a snapshot and video of a mundane object/scene! One is a snapshot from a video that detected someone next door. In the video the cam followed and auto zoomed in on the person driving out of the driveway. I can’t show the whole video due to the fact that identifying information was also captured.This cam was super easy to set up Using their App CamHiPro on my phone. They also have a browser for the PC, Hip2P available on the SV3C website that works well. Only download it from their website. This cam was super easy to set up Using their App CamHiPro on my phone. The app on my phone was very easy to use and has all the settings that you will need to set up and operate any of the SV3C cams and you can have all your cams on the app in one place! The app, or the PC software, has all the settings to turn on and off the humanoid or humanoid and vehicle detection under “presets”.The clarity of this cam is amazing! The 10x optical zoom with auto focus along with the humanoid detection feature is incredible. Once I set up my home viewing area the humanoid detection detects a person, it starts following the person and automatically zooms in capturing great detail of the individual. The auto zoom and auto focus easily captured the license plate on their car about eighty yards away! I would guess that some of the images of people have enough clarity so that facial recognition could be used to identify them in the case of a crime. If I owned a business this cam would be my choice for surveillance because of these features and clarity. One thing I learned was to set my “home” image to a wide enough field to be sure if someone enters it that the camera will then zoom and track them until they are no longer in view and the return to that home image.I use Blue Iris to playback alert clips and for general viewing and exporting of clips when needed. A couple of settings had to be adjusted. My Internet is FIOS 500MB and I am running four cams. I had jerky playback on recorded clips and to solve that I did the following;Go to “RECORD TAB”; Set the “Stream buffer time” higher.Also, you should set up “Sub Streams” and “Direct to Disk Recording” for all the cams on your network. This will reduce the “Overhead” on your computers CPU. I was able to find a lot of information on the Web for issues with Blue Iris. Also under the "RECORD" tab in a sub-menu.While the humanoid detection may be a little quirky occasionally it definitely has a lot of value. In a business setting indoors I believe it would be very stable. The clarity of the images and the optical zoom are worth the price of admission. The quality of construction and the customer support are outstanding!

Great features and price point, but no customer service if you run into problems. Bought this in July, installed it and started having intermittent connectivity problems. Camera would just drop off of the network. Tried all suggestions - power supply, IP conflicts, factor resets, etc. When it would go out, no IP scanner could pick it up. Only solution was to plug and replug the camera. Connectivity would last anywhere from hours to days. By the time I troubleshooted all options my ability to return via Amazon passed. Tried going on the manufacturer's website - but there is absolutely no support info or contact info. I tried a general email but (no surprise) no response. Camera is great when it works - out of luck if it doesn't. I wouldn't recommend the gamble.
