I was looking for an insulated water container for camping...I prefer my water chilled. When I winter camp, the climate does that for me, but I wanted something to keep my water cold in the warmer months. I saw some positive reviews for the Stanley Adventure Fast Flow Water Jug, so I decided to order it. I took it out on its first camping trip last weekend, and I was very impressed with its performance. I loaded the container with a 7 pound bag of ice and then filled it with water. It has a two gallon capacity, which is perfect for us for a two day camping trip. The handle is very solid, so carrying it while full was easy. In fact, the entire water jug is very high quality and built like a tank. The lid combined with the 4 clasps makes a solid seal with the container. The spigot has a large button which makes one-handed dispensing easy. It is also very easy to remove the spigot to give it a thorough cleaning. I was concerned with two things: if the item would leak and if it would keep my water cold for the duration of my trip. I am pleased to say that not a drop of water escaped after I filled it up. It didn't even leak during the over two hour car trip to the campground. And after 48 hours, we still had quite a bit of ice floating on top of the water. After 72 hours, there was no ice left, but the water was still extremely cold! We also love the look of it. I am a fan of green, and the dried pine color is very appealing! Granted, our Stanley Adventure Fast Flow Water Jug has only gone on one trip, but it handled it like a champ. It did its job perfectly by providing us with ice-cold water for the duration of our camping trip and didn't leak at all. It is definitely worth the price for me, because I know I will get years of camping trips out of this.

Absolutely love the bright red color of these Stanley coolers. Very sturdy they are made very well. The lid easily comes on and off with four latches. The ice stays cold for over 24 hours great for parties. Go buy now.

I have kept this thing in my car with me everyday since I purchased it. Ohio summer is HOT and HUMID and this has kept me from buying a water every time I leave the house. I have used in on several road trips now, I will just stop and get a small bag of ice each day and throw in there and as it melts my dogs and I can enjoy ice cold water whenever we need it! There is no plastic taste which I was afraid of bc I use stainless water bottles. I think it helps that I keep cold water in it so the inside doesn’t get hot. It has saved me a ton of money on buy water on the go. CONS: it isn’t completely leak proof even with the latches. If it is really full it can slosh a little and some water will come out. I think that was an issue for me because it was sitting in my car seat and it wasn’t level so that could be user error. However it was still a bit inconvenient to have some water in my car seat. The second issue is also probably user error, but just be sure to close the vent on the top when traveling bc water can come out of there as well.

This is a great design perfect for portable drinking water needs. Picnic, sporting event, toddler running around the playground, everything. It is super easy to clean, looks nice, and the water comes out easily. Just have to make sure you open the valve on top.

We camp a lot and use these for parties. They work great and have been made serving cold beverages for a crowd a breeze. Quite a few of our friends have purchased one of these after using ours. So far the quality has been great. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Está muy bueno, lo difícil es cargarlo lleno. Tampoco sirve para bebidas carbonatadas.

Es hält sehr lange die Getränke gekühlt und ist dicht!!! Ist optimal für Touren mit dem Auto, man hat durch das große Fassungsvermögen sehr lange etwas Eisgekühltes zu trinken. Wir benützten ihn mit gekühlten Wasser und einer Packung Eiswürfel. Können dann bei Bedarf etwas in den kleineren Stanley -1,5l abfüllen und geben dann einen der verschiedenen zuckerfreien Getränkesirup dazu und schon haben wir etwas tolles zu trinken immer griffbereit. Bei uns ist er dicht, da wir zum Transport immer das Ventil schließen ( siehe Anleitung). Mich hatten die Rezessionen die das Auslaufen beschrieben erst verwirrt, aber wenn man nach Anleitung zum Wasserzapfen das Ventil öffnet und nach Gebrauch wieder verschließt, baut sich innen das Vakuum auf und alles ist in Ordnung und nichts läuft aus!!!!
