Solved our float problems. A must-have for beginners.
My son got a couple of floats as a gift, but we had no weights. We tried to make it work with random stuff, but the float never sat right in the water. It was frustrating for a kid who just wanted to fish. I bought this split shot kit, and it fixed everything. What's good: Lots of different weights in one box. Easy to pinch on and off the line. You can easily adjust to make the float sit perfectly. Very cheap for what you get. Why beginners need this: You don't have to guess which weight to buy. You get a whole range, so you can experiment and learn. It's not expensive, so you won't cry if you lose some. Bottom line: If you're teaching a kid to fish, or you're a beginner yourself, just buy this kit. It will save you a lot of frustration. We went from "why isn't this working" to catching fish in one afternoon.

Good little set
Great little kit. It was perfect for my kids. Great value for the money. It’s a good weight for fishing off our dock. They’re small so sometimes my kids add a few extra. Overall would purchase again.

Compact Case and Standard Sinkers, Clasp May Wear Over Time
I picked up the SANWEAL Split Shot Fishing Weights Sinkers Set and overall it’s been a solid set. Pros: Compact case that’s easy to carry Softer case material so it won’t crack like hard plastic Good variety of standard split shot sizes Cons: Clasp feels like it may not hold up long term In use, the smaller case actually turned out to be a plus since it’s easier to store and doesn’t feel bulky. I also like that it’s not a hard plastic case, since those tend to break. The clasp works for now, but it doesn’t feel like it will stay secure forever. Overall: Good, straightforward set of sinkers with a convenient case. Just keep an eye on the clasp over time.
