Great Travel Guide!
Needless to say, the pictures are great in this travel book. I love that the author tells the cost of admission and hours of operation of most sites that are recommended. She is also wise to point out that you shouldn't only visit paid attractions as so many places are free! I appreciate the fact that she reminds people that attire is conservative, especially around religious sites. The glossary contains simple phrases that will help you communicate as a tourist. I highly recommend this travel book to plan your trip to Japan. Check this series out for your other trips too!

Uh-oh! I hope I never do some of these things. =)
These books are to help the traveler plan not only while on vacation in this case, Japan, but also how to plan a plan! Topics such as weather and local customs and tips are discussed as well as prices for sightseeing and pictures of FABULOUS food for the foodie! There's a particular section that has the name, address and hours of operation of places she recommends to experience. The book is filled with charts and graphs to help at a glance, too. Sarah has a gift for sharing travel tips, and if you are a traveler, too, you should invest in all of her “What NOT to” series! She is the absolute best in offering travel suggestions!

Get ready to plan a great trip!
I’ve always wanted to go to Japan but I wasn’t even sure where to start with knowing what to see, where to go, etc. this book focuses on just the essentials: must-dos, cultural faux pas to avoid (no ignorant American tourists here! Lol), and money-saving tips. Plus, there’s tons of beautiful photos that make me even more excited to go there. I feel more confident going into planning a potential trip now plus SO excited!

If you travel anywhere look to see if this book series includes where you are going. This one on Japan is absolutely beautiful I love all the photography really bright colors it feels like you are there. Aside from that it is a great way to get all the info you need from packing to whats appropriate culturally which I find to be the most important when travelliing to a country that has completely different customs than where you are from.
