Needless to say, the pictures are great in this travel book. I love that the author tells the cost of admission and hours of operation of most sites that are recommended. She is also wise to point out that you shouldn't only visit paid attractions as so many places are free! I appreciate the fact that she reminds people that attire is conservative, especially around religious sites. The glossary contains simple phrases that will help you communicate as a tourist. I highly recommend this travel book to plan your trip to Japan. Check this series out for your other trips too!

I’ve always wanted to go to Japan but I wasn’t even sure where to start with knowing what to see, where to go, etc. this book focuses on just the essentials: must-dos, cultural faux pas to avoid (no ignorant American tourists here! Lol), and money-saving tips. Plus, there’s tons of beautiful photos that make me even more excited to go there. I feel more confident going into planning a potential trip now plus SO excited!

This one on Japan is absolutely beautiful I love all the photography really bright colors it feels like you are there. Aside from that it is a great way to get all the info you need from packing to whats appropriate culturally which I find to be the most important when travelliing to a country that has completely different customs than where you are from.

I got this book so I could see and read more about the culture there.This book gives great insight on the attractions and the different foods there.This is a great book of your going there that the residents tell you are over rated and to expensive and this you should do and see.
