Oster Professional Care Lucky Dog Home Grooming Clipper Kit

If you are thinking of buying this product for "home grooming", check with the seller to see what plug type is on it. I need clippers to be able to groom my dog at home. He is a nervous dog and not yet able to be taken to grooming shops. I bought these, at they said they were professional clippers for "home grooming". When they arrived, they had a flat 2-pin plug on them. I don't have a single socket in my house (in the UK) that will take this type of plug. My previous home had a socket to accommodate a round 2-pin plug like the type you get on a razor, but I only have the standard UK 3-pin sockets at home. The advert does not state the type of plug on the item and I wish I had asked before I bought it as I would have kept on looking. I now have to return this item, as they are not suitable for my needs. I have given 1 star, as the clippers look like they would have been perfect. If anyone can recommend any HOME grooming clippers with standard UK plug attached and that would work well with long haired dogs, please let me know! I am still looking!!

I bought these to groom a small Chihuhua mix with long hair and I figured I was getting at least one grooming out of them because they are so cheap. I used to be a professional groomer but I dont have my supplies anymore and this was the best I could afford. They did ok on her coat only because it was a very light coat in good shape. I had to do an emergency grooming on a poodle who was not matted but full of sticky weed seeds and they gave out and were not worth much. I would say buy these with your expectations low and only if your dog is a one or two time grooming need with a really light weight coat.

El producto llegó en perfectas condiciones, lo malo es que en ocasiones se queda trabada y logra que el corte quede disparejo. Mi perro tiene el pelo largo y se lo jalaba provocando que la lastimara. Me quedó a deber.

Very nice, works very well. Im still having a little difficulty figuring out how to attach different guards but quiet, cut well without pulling. Makes grooming very easy.

No es lo que esperaba pero para perros con pelo muy corto es muy buena opción y es bastante económico

I bought these for my Shih Tzu. It works for me. He has a thick coat and during the summers I like to make sure that he is well groomed as going to get it done professionally is costly. It does what it needs to do. Nothing extra special about it. My only complaint is that the clippers get hot after some time and you have to allow it to cool down if it's a lot of hair that you have to get through. Other than that, it's a good product.
