It looks like plastic on the outside but it's a metal thermos on the inside, so it's not microwaveable. Also the design easily chips off. It was a total waste of money.

I love the size and look of these
I love the size and look of these. There isn't another option like these so I bought two. We don't have a dishwasher so I've only hand washed them but even so, the printing has smeared and warn off after a few months. That wouldn't be too bad but then the plastic thread part of cap just broke/separated/snapped from top of the cap on one of them. It is useless now and we're only halfway into the school year. I knew they would fade with use but I'm sad the one broke altogether. They are cute though.
