Great for helping de-tangle my kids’ hair. It smells amazing. It dries soft and bouncy, not crunchy pictures are of right after use when still wet and later when dried. Not oily.

I LOVE this product! I used it for a wash and go. All I needed was the product, no gel or anything else! That same night, I used a spray bottle to re-wet the hair slightly, and did a flat twist out. My hair was GORGEOUS the next day! Well defined curls with just ONE product, no gel necessary. It was my first time having a successful twist out without gel. I did this spray bottle method a few more times, and got great results each day. This product is a one stop shop. You won't need anything else when you're using it. AND, it smells delicious. I quickly ordered a 2nd jar so that I don't have to worry about being without it if/when I run out. And considering that all you have to do is re-wet the hair to re-activate the product, it will last you a long time!

This braid out glaze works great. I put it on my hair after using the leave in conditioner of the same name, and braid my hair. When I take it down the next day, it is soft, shiny, and moisturized. Also, my curls/waves are very pretty and last all day. I do recommend. I just wish the price was better.

I have 4A hair. I use this product for twist outs after using a lightweight leave in and before covering my hands in an oil to seal with while I twist. I usually wash my hair after having a twist out up for about a week. However, I became very ill (COVID, super fun) and was unable to do my hair. Five weeks later, my flat twist out STLL has definition. I would never go this long without a wash under normal circumstances, but it goes to show how amazing the hold is. I used to use ecostyler gel for hold in my twist outs, and the definition would be lost completely by day four. This product is still working after five weeks! There was also no buildup for me. I am careful not to use too much, though; I typically get the product from the lid and not the jar itself, so this jar will probably last a very long time. Overall, I absolutely recommend this product!

I have 4b and 4c here. I use it on my twist outs on wet hair and love it. You only need a wee bit on each section, brush through and twist. Gives it amazing definition. Will have somewhat of a crunch In the beginning but will soften up. It’s all I use! Warning: hair takes forever to completely dry!

This is a gel I always purchase. I love to keep this on hand. Normally I add water, then a leave in, then with the gel on top. It is sticky but I still like it. The quality is great. It is very moisturizing.

I use this product faithfully since being introduced. This doesn’t have the consistency of regular hair gels as this is thicker. It’s kind of a sticky consistency when not dried. This smell is inviting and once dried isn’t sticky. Must have for braiding but just as useful for ponytails. Wouldn’t recommend for using after flat ironing hair if you’re natural as this will revert your hair back to its normal state. Great for wet and wavy hair do’s and I imagine many other’s. This is very nourishing for your hair well at least mines.

Beautiful on my daughters natural hair and defines her curls with a lovely shine. I gave 3 stars because of the white residue left on the hair once the hair has dried which is not very pleasurable

This is what trained my hair. I like the other Mane twisting gels (and use them) but for hair that was transitioning from a relaxer, this worked best in my early stages of redefining curl patters. My hair is super thick and tightly coiled so it takes the heavier products well. The other Manes are a bit lighter so hair texture matters when picking the right one of these glazes.
