A: Only 800 mcg, far too little to have a measurable impact.

**Q: Where can I find the expiration date for this product? I purchased five but could not find that information on the bottle.**
A: It's stamped vertically on the far right edge of the label on the bottle. The one I have expires on 4/19 so I imagine yours are similar.

**Q: Does this product contain sugar?**
A: Thank you for your interest in Puritan's pride products! The Lutein 20 mg with Zeaxanthin (Prod No. 4904, B51815) does not contain sugar.

**Q: Does this product contain any caffeine? I need to start taking something because of staring at a computer all day but I can not have caffeine.**
A: No, it does not have caffeine.  I also work from a computer every day. I have noticed a difference with my eyes since I started using the Lutein.  They don't feel as strained as they used to and I feel like I see more clearly.

This was a “what the heck, give it a try” purchase. I am delighted to tell you that after 1 month, my results are unexpectedly good. I am 71yrs old and am in the early stages of cataracts. It has progressed to the point where I was experiencing blurry, rainbow halo vision throughout the day. Every morning I woke up to severely blurred vision, even with my glasses, and was unable to read for about an hour or so until my vision cleared a bit. I was struggling with reading and crafting. I am a hobbyist beaded jewelry maker and was really upset at difficult it was becoming to work with needle and seed beads. I was also struggle to do embroidery and cross stitch, which I also love. I was so frustrated and depressed. After 30 days of taking 2 caps per day, the rainbow halos are gone. Not just improved - totally gone! My vision is still diminished by developing cataracts but the improvement is pretty darn great. I know I will need cataract surgery down the road, but for now I can read as soon ad I wake up and I no longer have any halo vision. I am astonished and so grateful. I seriously did not expect these results. I will be reordering. If you have vision issues due to early stage of cataracts, give these a try. I hope you have the same results as I have. Good luck.
