Can this be used on wax jackets

Yes. Very easy to apply with sponge straight from tub. Apply sparingly. Ensure wax jacket is free of dirt by sponging down such areas with cold water. Allow to dry, then apply wax dressing. For new shop bought finish, use hairdryer over whole jacket. Look at Barbour waxing on YouTube.

Would it work on a canvas tent its lost its waterproofing and fabsil isnt working

Yes, Gold Label Waterproof Wax will work well canvas / cotton & polycotton tent fabric..Use a hairdryer to apply..This works much better than fabsil, especially on heavier thread count material like tent canvas..I would recommend this product, I find it better than more expensive brands, and better value..

Will one tub be sufficient to do one jacket.?

It will do many jackets! Use sparingly straight from tub and it goes a long way. No need to melt it like the Barbour product. After using on the jacket, hang it up and play air dryer over jacket to give even finish. Useful video on you tube on rewaxing a Barbour jacket.

Will this work on my old waxed bush hat

Yes absolutely. I personally used it to was canvas bush hat, and it turned out great. Hot sponge your hat first (not wet) to remove any grime. You will find a great result.
