This started out as a great leash. If you just walk the dog, probably fine. However, I let my dog play with other dogs (on leash); usually I let the leash go. (This way, there's no escaping as the dog knows it's not totally free). anyway, the metal part of the leash may hurt another dog, your own dog, or you. It's not a good idea to let this leash go. (I bought another one that is just a simple, flat leash. no metal & a small hook for the dog collar).

I really like (liked) this leash ... it looks good and is very comfortable to hold. Giving it just 4 stars because the spring that keeps the clasp closed and secured to dog’s collar stopped working ... This didn’t happen until after 18 months of use but disappointing just the same.

Absolute trash.Description makes a clear reference to this leash holding 1000 lbs. That is completely false and shame on Amazon as it's fulfilled by them.The clasp is pathetically cheap. Reference attached picture.My 95lbs Anatolian Shepard puppy snapped it like it was a piece of plastic.Had it for 6 weeks. He's generally a good walker, however he spotted something, gave a quick tug and it snapped like nothing.To make any sort of reference that this leash is capable of holding ONE THOUSAND POUNDS is absolutely absurd.I will be contacting for a full refund. I know it's only $10, but the maker of this leash does not deserve my money whatsoever!!!!

Great leash, so far. It's long enough to let your pet explore, but it's tough enough for those "leash biters". I like that you can reign them in (comfortably) by wrapping the extra cord around your arm. Works great for our pet. We had a retractable leash for years but don't think I'll go back to it after using this one. It's a better option for securing/controlling your pet on their walks

Love everything about this leash! I have tried so many leashes and they all end up getting damaged in some way or another. Perfect length, color, and seems very durable. I do recommend it.

Second time buying this leash! It’s so much better than anything on the shelf at PetSmart and it’s 1/3 the price

This is the most comfortable leash I've used so far. I have 2 big yellow labs, and I ordered 2 different leashes to try out - and I like this one much better. I am 5 feet tall with 80 lb puppy boys. This doesn't hurt my hand when they pull when they see a cat or small yappy dog. I can wrap it around the wrist and it feels fine. I like that there are 2 options on where to slip your hand through- I use both.I would order again. I wish there was a red one.

This leash arrived just as advertised. The handle is super comfortable and the leash itself is sturdy. The clip part seems a little small and might cause problems for a big dog that fights the leash, but this is perfect for our husky.

I’ve been looking all over for a decent quality lead and I’m so glad I’ve managed to find one! You can tell that a lot of detail and effort went into this lead - looks a lot more expensive than the £13 price tag. They even cushioned the hand grip!Strength wise - this thing is strong and has no problems holding the weight of my huskador (and she is a little crazy when she’s squirrels etc).Overall I’m really impressed and can see this lasting a while. Go glad I bought it! Top quality and trendy.

We needed to get a new lead after the last one didn't survive it's latest clean, and so opted for the Geepet Mountain Climbing Rope Dog lead. Have to say it is a great lead, well made, very sturdy and slightly more length that the usual lead, much to the delight of our dog. Would definitely recommend for people who like long walks with the dog but also keep them on the lead more than off it (as we do). Great product

Really liked this lead but our pup chewed the plastic film covering the metal clamp near the clip fairly quickly. Maybe needs to be slightly more robust given this is the part most likely to be chewed by young dogs. Apart from that, a good lead, decent price too.

Love this lead. Gives my pup an extra bit of room away from me and doesn’t feel like he’s pulling either. I’ll definitely buy another. 10/10 :)
