These motors lack enough torque to move anything when directly hooked up to wheels. We played around with several possible gear ratio setups even using a special differential setup but the motors lacked enough torque and would stall out (start/stop/jerk) from a standstill. These seemed like a great value, but they are too weak, mo torque, to be useful for any type of car/buggy so we sent them back. Maybe if you have a plethora of gear ratio's to play with you can make this work, but we could not find any setup that would overcome the minimal torque these motors have-sad kiddo's. Do not trust the 5 star reviews with no written content to lure you in. Otherwise, these motors worked well from a form/fit function standpoint with all the technic components.
