I bought this to help fill in some problem areas in the yard, and I've been really happy with the results. The mix germinated well, filled in nicely, and gave me a greener lawn without needing constant attention.What I love most is the clover. It stays greener during dry spells, helps the lawn look fuller, and seems much more forgiving of kids, pets, and my occasionally questionable lawn care habits. 😂The seed spread easily, established quickly, and created a nice mix of grass and clover that looks natural instead of patchy. A lot of it is the coating that you are paying for. Not 100% seeds

I purchased this product because I wanted to add clover to my lawn for pollinators and create a more natural lawn environment. I was extremely surprised to open the bag and discover that every seed was coated in a bright green treatment and had a strong chemical odor.The package states that the product contains 50% seed coating material and that the seed has been treated with Mefenoxam. The bag includes caution statements, instructions not to use the seed for food or feed purposes, and even lists the poison control hotline for emergencies related to treated seed.None of this information was disclosed in the Amazon listing. There was no indication that the seeds were treated or that half of the package weight consisted of coating material rather than seed.For customers with children, pets, pollinator gardens, or anyone specifically seeking a more natural lawn option, this information is important. Had I known the seeds were treated and contained 50% coating material, I would not have purchased this product.The product may work as intended, but the listing should clearly disclose that the seed is treated and that half of the package weight is coating material so customers can make an informed decision.

95% grass 5% clover :( I was looking forward to having a clover yard. But the grass grows well.

I use in the back yard. Clover does not require constant watering as my front fescue turf. I have two large dogs. Clover is naturally resistant to dog urine and will not yellow or burn the way traditional turfgrass does. Because clover acts as a nitrogen-fixing ground cover, it can actually absorb the high nitrogen in dog pee without being damaged.
