Pennington Clover Grass Seed Mix for Lawn 7lb

Planted this in our new construction lawn in October in Lower West Michigan - didn’t see much growth by the end of fall, but come spring time, this really took off! I only planted one time in October - attaching some pictures of late June now- 8 months later! Watered well. Our yard is a lot of clay and sand. The dirt photo is our before picture

I bought this to help fill in some problem areas in the yard, and I've been really happy with the results. The mix germinated well, filled in nicely, and gave me a greener lawn without needing constant attention. What I love most is the clover. It stays greener during dry spells, helps the lawn look fuller, and seems much more forgiving of kids, pets, and my occasionally questionable lawn care habits. 😂 The seed spread easily, established quickly, and created a nice mix of grass and clover that looks natural instead of patchy. Plus, I feel a little better knowing the clover is beneficial for pollinators. If you're tired of fighting a never-ending battle for the perfect lawn, this is a great option. My yard looks better, the bees seem happy, and I spend less time stressing about brown spots. That's a win all around. 🌱🐝💚🤣

dont wate your money. i got all kinds of random crap growing in my garden because of this trick bag. its all grass and buckwheat. if there are any clover seeds at all, they will be smothered out by the buckwheat. im actually furious, idk how you can sell people bags of crap like this. theres so much buckwheat in here, ended up having to rip up the entire area that i treated, so even if there was a single clover seed, i never got to see it grow. skip this headache, and buy something that will work. i ended up spending a bit of extra money on another well known brand (starts with sco* and rhymes with potts*) and it worked so good i bought 5 more bags.... DO NOT BUY THIS PENNINGTON CRAP. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Had to wait until my wife and daughter were out of town for a week so the back yard could have time without traffic. Spread the seeds and by the time they came back it looked like we had grass again. I made them refrain for another week or 2 from walking on it. And it was almost fully grown. However once it started seeing traffic again it all died. I dont think its thr seeds fault. I really just think its my soil and weather

Purchased the seed because I needed something that would germinate quick and keep the erosion under control on a hill. Planted the seeds on Saturday and by Thursday you can see the clover and the grass growing. So far, very happy with the clover & grass mix. Update: It has been several weeks and spotty clover in the grass. Definitely great grass seed to grown on a very steep bank.

this is a scam, I planted this and no one clover came out, just regular grass, bad deal

Love this, low growing so reduces mowing(and the bunnies love it!)

In one week I started to see grass and clover. The price was reasonable and I am very satisfied with the seeds.
