Works well
Self-aerating? Self-watering? Trying one as I have a black thumb and unintentionally kill fish and hapless plants. Attractive and small planter, looks great with new house plant. Working so well, plant doing great that I came back for another color. Highly recommend.

Great product
A plant that waters itself? What else can you ask for? Perfect for my prayer plant that requires more water than my other plants.

Working great on my African Violet and Cyclamen plants
Soils appears to stay moist and plants are shooting up like no one business. Down side is how easy the tab falls off I have to refill the basin with a turkey baster. Needs refilling about every three days.

Great for people bad with plants!
Yes these are plastic and while I don't think they look as nice as ceramic ones, I don't care. My plants have been staying alive since I switched to these and a dead plant in a pretty pot isn't pretty. Also useful for when I moved my plants inside for the winter but the heating from vents was drying out the soil incredibly fast. I've got several of these now in different sizes. I was actually thinking about painting the white ones I owned, to make them a bit more cheerful looking and personalized.

I killed all my plants... until this
I've never had a green thumb but always wanted a lime tree. After years of hemming and hawing, I committed to buying one and needed a good planter. Did some research, came across this one and thought that the design made sense. If you water too much from the top, it's drips into the reservoir, which then wicks water upward as the soildries. Pretty freaking genius in my opinion. My lime tree is doing so great that I bought 5 more planters to plant my herbs in. Yes and yes to recommending.

Nice enough pot, but make sure you get the watering attachment
I just realized, looking at the image, that mine didn't come with the self-watering thing. I was trying to figure out how in the heck anyone could water it from the bottom. Makes sense now. I think it's probably too late to return it. The pot is nice enough, but we'll never know about the watering feature. I like the color.

perfect planter
really great size for indoor plant. will only purchase this type of planter now that i can actually grow plants without killing them. Instructions says to fill with potting soil, but i went to the dollar store and got a bag of colored glass marbles. have 30" of snow or I would have scrounged some stones and washed them to use. then filled with soil.I only wish the planters came in satin, not shiny, finish. but i'm doing so well with this type of planter that that plants will soon cover most of the planter. Ha.
